If you had the power to create a release or two what would you pick. Maybe two choices; realistic ventures and truly fantasy releases.
I'd love a Special Companion Chronicle set with Third Doctor stories onward - covering Jo Grant, who does a lovely Three, a Tegan one because one can never have enough Janet, a River Song one set during either her time with Ten or Eleven and to wrap up a Molly story as it would be lovely to hear Ruth Bradley again. I know the sets are prospering with Doctor's One and Two but I do miss the odd extra release and think an occasional Special Edition would be really nice.
Bubbling under two box sets of Goth Opera/Blood Harvest and So Vile A Sin/Bad Therapy, as I really miss the novel adaptions! Or failing that more Seven with (Benny) Chris and Roz.
In the fantasy realm I'd love them to secure Matt Smith for a set. Even if they couldn't get Karen or Jenna to commit and they wanted a familiar face they could do a lovely box set with River set after The Angels Take Manhattan, after she agrees to travel with him 'for a little while.'

I suppose my fantasy - but hoping it happens - release would be Christopher Eccleston returning as the Ninth Doctor for some BF audios ... although you could add Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi for some proper Eleventh & Twelfth Doctor audios too, but I genuinely think the latter two will happen at some stage . Dalek Empire: The Masterplan - An epic 12 CD box set saga would of course be my proper fantasty fantasy!

My release that I would love to have happen is Sarah Jane with forth doc.....alas now never to be......
I would have also loved it to be the 4th doc that picks up the version of Sarah kingdom at the end of her comp chronicle

I just wish we would get a few more of these early experimental releases like Scherzo, Pirates, Live 34 or Natural History of Fear. They were all amazing and unique in their own way.
Plus I wish we would get a nice real breather episode for the much beaten 8th Doctor. No alien threat, no apocalypse, just him and his companions bantering. Maybe take him to a party, let him run off with his green monkeys or let them clean up the TARDIS together. Something that does not have him on the verge of a breakdown. After that we can go back to dark and gritty. Does not need to be an epic release, maybe just like one of these 1h specials they did.

Realistic... A Diary Of River Song set featuring Amy and Rory. And throw in Brian and Anthony (Amy/Rory's son from the deleted "The Angels Take Manhattan" epilogue) for an episode. I'd love to see what this family is together and how they get through an adventure without the Doctor stealing all the spotlight. Sure, it'd require an massive feat of scheduling assuming all parties were interested but I think it's at least possible... As I have no idea what if anything Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have said about doing Big Finish. Mark Williams already has, and Anthony would be a new casting.
Fantasy... Top of this list for me would be finding a way to publish the scripts for Series 14 of Jago and Litefoot. Or adapt them into prose, or convert them into Companion Chronicles with Quick and Ellie doing some of the heavy lifting, or hand them to Titan for a comic adaptation. I'd gladly take a table read. Something, anything! *Sigh* I'm assuming if there was any way to get this story arc out, it already would have happened.

Both of these are great, but personally I would have thought those two ideas should be the other way around! Fantasy at the moment to get all the Ponds back together, although realistically I could see River and her Grandfather happening. Realistically Big Finish surely cannot let the magic that was, and I believe still is, Jago and Litefoot disappear. Can negotiating a book contract with the BBC for Jago & Litefoot be really that difficult or cost prohibitive!?

I for one am glad they don’t.......I really hated them i hate the experimental ones they always slip into the box sets too.......the jago n lightfoot sets were always doing it. I particularly shudder with fear remembering the monkey Freud one. i also don’t like the mixed up timeline ones......I don’t mind telling that way but when you listening and it jumps you think oh bugger it’s skipped you spend half the blooming time trying to find ya place.........just tell use before hand told in a non linear way...... each to their own of course..... But being as they dropped them pretty much now, I suspect they weren’t popular

But being as they dropped them pretty much now, I suspect they weren’t popular I agree on the mixed up timeline stories. Why mix them up - would they have been as good if they weren't mixed up? If so, then why mix it up at all? And if not, then mixing it up is just a cheap and easy way to make a below par story seem better than it really is
If it is a good enough story it should stand on its own merits without the gimmick of being told in a non-linear fashion. Non linear stories always make me imagine a script meeting where someone says, "This is a bit dull, what can we do to make it more interesting?" and then someone else replies "I know! Let's jumble up the sequence and tell it out of order. The audience will be so busy trying to put it all together and work out what's going on that they won't notice the story itself is a bit lacking". Sorry to rant, but I really dislike non-linear stories unless they have a genuine reason why they NEEDED to be told in a non-linear fashion - and in my experience very few of them do

Haha, I appear to be the polar opposite of you guys.
I love experimental and absurd stuff and I certainly love non-linear storytelling. But of course muckypup is right, each to their own. As my grandma used to say, it takes all kinds of animals to make a zoo. I am happy the offerings are so diverse, however, I do miss offerings for my side a bit lately.

Yes for me also and as you know for me it’s all about the characters and the acting and given that Bennie and River really did work so well together in the Legacy set and Vienna could out smart ass comment them both probably . Give it to Mr Dorney....and maybe throw in Barrowman as the threat an alternative Captain Jack ( because I do like the actor as he was brilliant in Arrow)

I love experimental or surreal stories, especially when they make use of the audio format as well as those ones do. A box set of "Strange Tales" or something like that would be fantastic. I'd also like a few more novel adaptations. Since we've brought the NAs partly into Big Finish it would be nice to have audio versions of the ones with important developments like arrivals and departures if nothing else, just to fill in the holes.

She is such a wonderful ambiguous character. Its never going to happen but we can dream...

Semi-practical suggestion: Michael Jayston filters into the mix of the main range, credited as the Doctor, a Doctor who has travelled into his own past to escape.... something, and we see him gradually change from being basically the Doctor but perhaps a little more ruthless and maybe he's open to getting paid to save worlds, into the Valeyard we know and love.
Semi-impractical suggestion: a brand new 'Avengers' story, purportedly a Lost Episode, in which the now-elderly Sam Kisgart recreates his original role. There's some mystery about the person who wrote the story - perhaps they died - and one of their other works is a unused 'Prisoner' script, which seems to tie to the produced 'Avengers' story, similar character names and Macguffins (shades of Terry Nation, perhaps). BF produce that, too - and, of course, these two stories would be a single box set, together with a third story in which Mervyn Stone unravels the truth.
Barking suggestion: A new 'Unbound' series, asking (ostensibly) what would DW have been like if, instead of starting in 1963, it had begun in 1953/43/33/23/13/03. In theory the series, which arrives in no apparent order, is a series of pastiches of the storytelling of each decade, but not every Doctor is a hero, and gradually it all begins to tie disturbingly together... (yes, I've got the whole thing planned out).

Well, I have to say the comic stories are a bit hit and miss. But the Destrii stories are AMAZING and it would be really awesome to get her as companion/ adversary for the Eighth Doctor- it would be something completely different (morally ambiguous ALIEN character who has no qualms in beating up and nearly raping the Doctor) and would completely shake up the dynamic with the 8th Doctor.
It certainly would be something fresh.
