Were you ever set up with the beta version? Like a long time ago? If you’re asking me.. no. I was always on 2.1.1 Honestly, I’m not sure why it’s not updating. That’s kinda beyond my scope since it is apple that handles the store and updating apps. One thing I would try is to do a spotlight search for the Big Finish app. Does it appear twice? If you’re on iOS 8 you will not get the update. Since I had to bump the minimum required version to ios 9. That might explain it, but I know you said you were on 11.

The details in the APP store are fine - version number says 2.2.1

Any android users get the update for the details view? You might be able to manually update and get it...

Hackmodford. Just again a thanks for this app. I use it multiple times a week! My only wish left on my wish list would be a way to use the iOS share sheet to post to Twitter or Facebook my comments about the app with a link to the associated page and image on the big finish page in case any of my friends want to get it too

I never signed up for betas, even though you sent me an invitation. Just never got around to it. (Can I still do it?) However, my phone was going crazy giving me "storage full" messages, and I couldn't install the new iOS update till I cleared some storage, so I uninstalled the Big Finish app and reinstalled it, since it seemed to be taking up a lot of space, not just the app, but long since deleted downloads. And when I reinstalled, I got offered an updated version of the Big Finish app. Also, I was surprised that uninstalling and reinstalling did not sign me out of the app. Every other app that I uninstalled and reinstalled I had to sign in again and set up all my preferences anew.

Any help gratefully appreciated

Hackmodford. I’ve been running into some stability issues lately with my app, it’s become slow to open, and when it decides to crash, it takes about 10 minutes or so to get it running again.
I’m thinking it’s due to the amount of stories I’ve got loaded on it, I’ve got just under 200 stories on it (marathon listening.) but if I try and get any more, it becomes progressively more unstable.
I’m running the beta of 2.2.0 (97) on a 64 go iPhone se iOS 11.0.3

Any help gratefully appreciated Press and hold the title you wish to delete, a box appears with 'Delete' / 'Cancel'. Hit the word 'Delete' and it'll be gone......

After update to 11.0.3, I have to charge my phone twice a day. It was much better off with 10.x, alternate day charging or at the most once a day used to work fine for me.

I'm aware that having a TON of stories on a device causes an issue. I'm currently held up developing a new feature, but I will definitely address that eventually. I did a preliminary test and was able to get one device, that took 20-30 seconds to load, to start up in 2 seconds

Trying to solve an Apple TV mystery...
My previous box played audiobooks just fine but we bought the new 4th gen Apple TV and today I tried to play the new David Tennant stories and they wouldn't stream well from iTunes, stuttering and stopping every minute.
Then I found that other titles I've purchased this year won't play at all! It plays MP3 files and also has no trouble with the Bakers End files from Bafflegab but it won't play recent AAC audiobook files from Big Finish.
Has anyone else encountered this?

Using the iOS app, when starting to download an item the circle appears and starts to fill in. If it keeps getting only a small fraction of the way round then starts again, is each time it does that a step towards a complete download or is it really restarting each time? It's doing this for me most times I try to download something these days. Been doing it for an hour trying to download Medicinal Purposes just now. This is my second attempt today. Earlier it did the same for ages till, as I was heading out and away from my wi-fi, I pressed the pause button. Also, should a paused download also be able to be resumed at a later time? Second time trying this download it didn't appear like it was partially downloaded. It was like this last time when it took all evening to get Dark Eyes 4 onto my iPhone a few weeks ago. I'm not listening to things as much these days. In the past I was downloading several titles a week and I don't recall things taking this long or working in such a restarty way. The above is still frequently my experience using the app. Have tried three times to download the next main range title I'm up to, Singularity, over the last couple of days without success. When watching it download it gets so far round the download progress circle then starts again. Sometimes it gets to 25%, sometimes as high as 40-something, sometimes not even as far as 10. If I leave my phone to it overnight by morning, instead of a completed download, it shows a Download button again. Maybe/hopefully posting this will mean in five minutes I follow this with a "never mind, it's worked now!" post. Any explanation as to what the app is doing when downloads appear to keep starting again would be much appreciated.
