I actually think Bradley Walsh was the highlight of S11... for me Graham is a great companion.
Still, it's 2019 and we're talking about a potential Doctor Who movie, missing stories being animated, classic season blu-ray collections, a new season on the TV is not that far away... all on top of Big Finish pumping out Doctor Who audios like they're going out of fashion. I don't see anything a DW fan could be upset about; there's something there for everyone!

I don't see anything a DW fan could be upset about; there's something there for everyone! Oh, Graham had such a strong character arc. A very raw and human exploration of grief and what it does to people. I reckon the best part of Arachnids in the UK was him going through the house and finding it filled with old memories of Grace. Strong character too for joining up with the Doctor, not to escape his emotions, but actively confront them every day as they travel. That's what I love about Doctor Who. As soon as the show takes a break, however long it may be, there's this almost instantaneous impulse to fill the void.

Like clockwork. Every time there's a long break between seasons, this rumour reappears, without fail.

but is still hate Bradley Walsh, he was annoying as a comedian, annoying in Corrie, every time he appears on anything he makes me cringe and don’t get me started on the chase! Perhaps it's a good thing I haven't actually seen him in anything else? I'd probably think he was annoying as a comedian too :-)

I did have my own idea for a Doctor Who Movie, but essentially it was the ending of my "If I was a Doctor Who Showrunner" era

What the wazzocks who come up with this idea (as if it's even a new one) every few years don't GET about Who, is that you don't have to reboot a show that does itself every couple of years anyway. Cushing's movies are different, the era was far more malleable and we hadn't had Pat Troughton yet so the possibility of the show getting into the late 60s, never mind until 2019(!) was beyond thought.
What a terrible idea. These days, in the age of streaming and so on, outside of things like the MCU with their Disney money and directors that can grab their budgets on their name (and they're thinner on the ground than people think), it's movies that are the poor relation, not TV. TV would like more cash, always will, but nowadays that's where you go for quality.

Like the many other times such a rumor has cropped up, I'll believe it when footage has actually been shot. They can't even keep the show on a consistent schedule for the past several years, so adding a film on top doesn't seem logical.
