Any recommendations from folk who already have these audiobooks?
The international postage practically doubles the cost of some of these. Still should be a good deal.
(A bit of price comparison - going to Book Depository (postage "free") "The House of Winter" is $8.73, "The Sins of Winter" is $13.42, "The Memory of Winter" is $8.16. So that is $30.31 for 3 of the 11 titles in the 12th Doctor bundle. So if that is representative, the whole cost would be $111 including postage. The 12th Doctor bundle is $42.12 plus postage. So, even with the international postage it is quite a deal less.)
Placing all 6 in my basket total cost is $230.40 (including the $8.37 per order charge and $90.18 shipping).
Decided to go for all but the tie-in bundle. That cost was $202.16 (including the $8.37 per order charge and $77 shipping). Now all I will need is time to listen to these and all my other Big Finishes purchases. (Their calculation is an extra 141 hours needed to listen to these.)

When it comes to Who titles from BBC Audio books I am a complete novice, so any recommendations for this sale would be gratefully received. 😊

I liked the Torchwoods they were quite good and the Tie-ins (apart from Full Circle but that's down to personal taste)
I've read the 10th and 11th Novels but no knowledge on the 12th ones (Big Finish buying has to take priority)

For the Twelfth Doctor, I think there’s an arc of stories with Clara about this family called Winter, so all the stories are "something of Winter”
Then there’s a 4 story arc with two new companions called Brandon and Alex who are Asian American siblings.
And then there’s 2 or 3 solo stories but I don’t know if those are in the bundle.
I’ve listened to two of the stories with Brandon and Alex, which are alright but nothing you’d desperately need to hear.
Oh and I’ve listened to a few of the Torchwoods. There’s a miniseries that follows on almost immediately from Miracle Day and sets the scene for the Exodus Code book.

I don't own them all so can't comment on everything but I do have everything in the Past Doctor bundle and with the exception of Corpse Marker they are all very very good. Even then Corpse Marker is the missing link between Robots of Death and the magnificent Kaldor City audio series, so is worth getting for that reason alone.
10th Dr bundle - I have read all the books and they were good enough, but nothing you couldn't live without. Can't comment on the audiobook adaptations as I have never heard them
11th Dr bundle - don't know any of them so I bought this because it seemed good value
Tie in bundle - Human Nature and Shakedown are top notch, don't know about the other 2
12th Dr bundle - The Winter stories are good enough, but again nothing you couldn't live without. Don't know the full length novels.
Conclusion - Past Dr bundle is the best of the bundles available, (based on the ones I am familiar with)
Hope this helps

Anything narrated by Dan Starkey is amazing. I think Silhouette is one of my favorites since Dan Starkey is doing a great 12 and also does the Paternosters, especially Strax.

This is personally the only story, which I don't already own, that interested me and your comment just sold me on it! So I've picked it up on Audible

Gentle reminder - do not post the full text from press releases. By all means post the link and use the first paragraph, but no more than that. Some content providers have put legal language on their site which prohibits use of full text - rather than spending our time checking the reposting rights granted by all content providers, we ask that only the link and the first paragraph be used.
Thanks.

Huh.
Well, this was unexpected. Very interesting...I'm going to give it a pass, though, since there's no digital option and international shipping isn't cheap.

I personally think BF should use Starkey instead of Dudman for 12. He is amazing and he is just made for doing audio books.

Picked up the PDA bundle and the 12th Doctor bundle.
The PDAs have some excellent stories included scales of injustice, witch hunters and illegal alien.
I was on the fence about the 12th Doctor, but aside from him being one of my favourite new who doctors, two of the novels are read by David Warner, who I absolutely adore.
I want human nature as well, but after what I spent, I’m already eating snow for the next week!

Going like hot cakes. I was in for the 'Past Doctors' bundle in under a millisecond! (You bet I was - three Third Doctor stories, some historicals, Sixie & the Brig. for starters and all at a knock-down price. )

I was still umm-ing and aah-ing about this one, mainly because I own some of the CDs and didn't fancy buying them twice. Looks like my decision has been made for me.
