You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

Very happy to see Jago joining forces with the Paternosters and the fact it will be a Christmas story is very welcome. Add to that it being written by Paul Morris and this ticks nearly all the boxes for me. Nearly.
My only complaint (yes I know, I am never satisfied) is that this isn’t separate from the Heritage series. I have already subscribed to that complete set, but Vastra, Jenny & Strax, together with Henry, Gordon & Jago plus Christmas should have warranted a two disc special collectors edition set.

If I hadnt already pre-ordered all four PNG sets when they were announced, I would definitely be grabbing Vol 4 now.

I too was hoping for a standalone special when this crossover came around. Something to mirror Jago And Litefoot And Strax.

I’d have thought that another set with the sub title of The Christmas Haunting would have been irresistible. But resist they did.

Now that Henry will have met all the Paternosters, I hope we'll be hearing them together again and he'll become an occasional special guest character (as we were told the 'Bloomsbury Bunch' will be.) The Paternosters are an excellent new range and Henry popping in is the icing on the proverbial patisserie production!

A shame Trevor Baxter isn't here for a full crossover between The Paternoster Gang and Jago & Litefoot, but I'm glad to see Henry Gordon Jago having a guest appearance in a range that's a perfect fit for him.
I haven't got round to listening to any of the Paternoster Gang yet (except for The Eighth of March) but this'll give me something to look forward to when I do.

I am so happy about this. I've missed good old Henry Gordon Jago.

One wonders if they’ll mention the oft theorised (and used in the Titan comics) idea that Vastra knew HGJ before becoming the great detective. I hope they DON’T use the Titan Comic reference as a basis, as it involves rhe Doctor saying “well, I WARNED you about Jago” which does not feel like something positive, whereas we know Henry treated all his performers and staff well (by Victorian standards).
