That is true. My Knowledge card had a gap there that i will now fill lol I won an Auction and got it for £42.50 including p&p That's actually quite reasonable IMO.
Regards
mark687
Not including p&p my highest willing bid was £40 and the seller had actually started it at £25, so was worth it.

Vampire Science, Seeing I, The Scarlet Empress and Father Time would make amazing audiplays. Sham it's unlikely to happen for years, if ever BodySnatchers and The Taint would be other ones i'd love to be adapted in the future Good Choices (Demontage could be fun but might not work on audio, The Blue Angel, The Ancestor Cell and the Earth exile arc would be great as well...) I think Briggs mentioned in a podcast last year(?) that the BBC was considering doing audiobooks of the EDA's at some point, so if adapations never happen at least we might hear McGann brings the words to life. Still hoping we hear more of Fitz at some point...

Listened to short trip Gardens of the Dead, which put me in a 5th Doctor mood. So ordered Black Guardian trilogy. Concentrating on buying the region 1 DVDs that you're most interested in would now more than ever be very prudent to quickly do so. A lot of those classic Doctor Who disc titles are now dropping off like flies by becoming physically unavailable to purchase at normal suggested retail prices. Genesis of the Daleks and Terror of the Zygons are the latest POPULAR story region 1 DVDs to go out of print. Listening to Mark Strickson read the Gardens of the Dead was a treat! He's continually good at portraying Turlough as a youthful rascal and mimicking the overbearing Tegan.

I was at Supercon Miami today and bought two Doctor Who New Adventures and a comic from MarkWHO42, who had a booth at the con. (He has an Amazon storefront, too, actually.) I got Return of the Living Dad, Original Sin, and an Eighth Doctor comic.

My EDA collection will grow by another 10 books (bringing it to 51(?) in total), when the following arrive, just bought used, but decent copies of: Earthworld Anachrophobia The Year Of Intelligent Tigers (heard very good things about this one) Dark Progeny Domino Effect Grimm Reality Mad Dogs And Englishmen (seems to be another acclaimed one) Trading Futures Eater Of Wasps The Crooked World (heard great things about this one as well) I'm trying to collect all of the EDA's for a reasonable price and in good condition, with only a couple of exceptions I've been able to pick up most of the previous books for £2-£5 each, I'm planning on going back and filling in the gaps at a later stage, but as much as I'm enjoying reading/collecting the EDA's (well mostly, there has been the odd massive clunker...), I'm not paying £20 for a used book (I made an exception for Vampire Science...), I'll have to keep a closer eye on Amazon marketplace... 73 books sounds alot (though judging by the dates of release, had they kept releasing 1 novel a month up to the end it would have been about 96 in total...), but I'm getting a little sad I'm nearing the end , its certainly the longest series of novels I think I'll ever read, and it's very interesting to note the differences/similarities between prose 8 and audio 8... (The Dying Days is proving rather more elusive, great as it supposedly is, £80 for a used doctor who book seems a tad excessive...)

I don't think that can be true, I bought it in a bookshop as normal after it was released.

Because I read it in a preface to a copy of the book, so there must have been at least a second printing.

Good for you having bought it during the initial run though!

Good for you having bought it during the initial run though! Yes, you are correct. It sold out before the official release date. I misspoke. Sadly, I don't own a copy. I read a borrowed copy. I only wish I owned a copy.
