I thought on a fairly recent podcast that Nick Briggs mentioned BF might be doing readings of these stories(with sound effects as in"Dracula and other Dark Tales")But I guess that will be well on the backburner now?

Yeah, it was on the podcast with Scott Handcock.
Maybe they're just waiting - with so much Nu-Who going on, it would be a shame for Carnacki to get lost in the shuffle.

I keep waiting to hear more about this as it sounds intriguing. In that video for OZ there was a bit where Dan Starkey sat in a big leather armchair telling a story...

I've been looking at getting into this range. What are your thoughts on them? Are they actually made by Big Finish or is it another company?

I've been looking at getting into this range. What are your thoughts on them? Are they actually made by Big Finish or is it another company? If they ever see the light of day, they will be made by BF.At the moment its only being talked about, and was mentioned on a previous podcast.6 stories were 1st published in 1913,written by William Hope Hodgson in the book "Carnacki the Ghost Finder"In1947 the reprint contained 9 stories listed here 1."The Thing Invisible" 2."The Gateway of the Monster" 3."The House Among the Laurels" 4."The Whistling Room" 5."The Searcher of the End House" 6."The Horse of the Invisible" 7."The Haunted 'Jarvee'" 8."The Find" 9."The Hog They are described as "Occult Detective Short Stories" so they are part supernatural, and part detective. The expiriences are all related by Carnacki himself,he invites certain of his close friends to dinner. And after dinner tells his tale!
