BEST Set yet...full of so much good stuff and a definite relisten from start to finish Can it be totally original well that would be very very very hard but it’s a thrilling ride which sums it up without spoiling anything Well it better be good because the last three audios I've listen to have been pretty droopy. This is the best of them I think....

I wish {Spoiler} That the dynamics of Livs relationship with Tula had been injected into Stranded there is the drama but there is a sense of a real relationship/fun/sarcasm/humour that I just didn’t get from Stranded at all ,listening to LIV in this this is so much better than what I felt in Stranded...hey or maybe it is just me am always wrong lol

Well just completed my sec0nd listen through of the whole set and have to say this is tight energetic scripting well worth the mysteries it sets up and answers and story 2nis damn well pretty spooky and disturbing you can’t help envisaging Kaldor as Original blade runner type society with a little bit of Art Deco thrown in for good measure...knowing how Live renters the Tardis and the Mayhem she leaves behind it is going to be an interesting final set of stories...

A solid and enjoyable boxset. I am curious to see how the 'twist' from the third episode will play out in the final boxset, I have to say...

Started on this set. Was casually painting my little Star Trek figures, starting out on the first story, and ended up at the edge of my seat. This starts out with a nice exciting mystery, and the sneaking about in creepy old factory buildings and I got a really nice X files vibe. Liv and Tula are written perfectly and we get some good pacing. How exciting! Loving this. Now I need to get back to my painting. And listening!

Decided to pace myself and took a break reading some comic books. Will finish it tomorrow. As for the second story- I thought it was a bit confusing, it will certainly gain from a second listen so I know exactly what had been going on....

Finished the set. Wow, this was great! The third story continues the thriller started in episode one and it has great pacing, underlying threat and you can really feel the stakes. Liv and Tula continue to be a great team and their banter and relationship is very believable. Also, the built up of background creepiness by the robotic narrator.... plus the great twist at the end of the episode- perfection. I got goosebumps! I absolutely loved this, and it might be one of the most exciting things BF has done all year!
One little minus- including Louisa Jameson in a speaking role. I am aware of the lockdown situation and the smaller cast. But her voice is so distinctive, having her appear took me out of the flow for a bit.
I am curious how the setup will be resolved in the last set. But so far, this has been a fantastic ride. I am also curious about the mysterious story with Toos and Poul- I was a bit confused by the second episode and I am still wondering how it fits in the overall narrative. Sadly we will have to wait for the last set of stories to finally find out. Argh, 6 more months to wait!

I did love the 2nd story very very much and it will be interesting how they resolve it with the Sandminer crew I won’t spoil it for others as I totally agree this was a thrilling set,Louise is forgiven as this was recorded during a lockdown or I think the final two were. But surely someone with a less distinctive vocal could have been held at gunpoint to provide the vocals. But this was well done thriller chiller material and Jon Culshaw was pretty fantastic In it as Sarkov...given the whole set up in this it is hardly surprising that when LIV goes to rejoin the Tardis crew Kaldor has gone to hell in a hand basket.Really it’s been a highlight of a month of great releases...perfect way to end what has been a totally shitty year worldwide and Louise is a pretty great director there were a few odd beats but excellent work but what do I know lol

I loved this set, and am planning on listening to it again. The real surprise for me was how much I loved the Toos and Poul story. I thought it was the best and most engaging story of the set. I was rivetted to it, and by the end I was again lamenting the death of David Collings.
Looking forward to the next set.

Regards mark687 I get the feeling somehow it’s beyond return to Kaldor as civil war is in effect and the robots are already gaining sentience but hey not that it matters lol

I've thoroughly enjoyed every set in this series so far! It's a shame this thread has been fairly quiet as this was a really good release, especially Guy Adams' Circuit Breaker. He's brilliant at the psychological torture stuff (if you haven't listened to Adam Adamant Lives! and you enjoyed Circuit Breaker, then it's probably right up your alley). The big moment in the third episode was something I'd expected in one form or another after the character had been referenced so many times (it was just too many times for there not be some sort of revisit), but I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting the way they did it. And what a cliffhanger! Volume 4 can't come soon enough

Volume 4 can't come soon enough It is nice that David had completed all of his and hopefully a fitting final tribute to a great actor I could gladly have listened to a series of him And Pamela together amazing how a small four part story had created such wonderful characters and scenarios that are still being played out 30 years on.And yes-great cliffhanger hopefully more will get involved In this series I have been late to the table many times am glad I didn’t give this series a miss

Just finished and I have to say the build up as we go through the box sets is just excellent. The world building, the developing and also varied themes. Just a treat to listen to. And all this goodness is before we even mention the excellent cast. Roll on the next release!
