Here is The Doctor's speech from Zygon Inversion being read cold by Paul McGann. It's completely different from Capaldi's but still amazing. And he's doing it cold.

Peter Capaldi did a live reading of the speech at a talk I went to last month. It was brilliant. At the same talk we learned that the team of Capaldi, Moffat and Gatiss lost a Doctor Who trivia challenge to a group of teenagers. Apparently Moffat was beating himself up over not getting some of the questions.
Two words: Corned beef.

I've been waiting for this. He did it so different and so perfect. A Man who was resigned to what he had done, but would use it to teach others not to make his mistakes.
and the fact he did it cold as well makes it brilliant

I think it's brilliant how they both interpret it in different ways. Peter Capaldi's version is more like a father telling off his naughty 8 year old son, whereas Paul McGann delivers it more like being disappointed at the actions of an old friend. I think overall I prefer Peter Capaldi's take but that only makes sense seeing as it was written for his Doctor and not the 8th.
