Great news! I'd be delighted for Gatiss' Dracula to be an ongoing thing at Big Finish.

I am mildly tempted for this, although I read the book for the first time a few years back and felt it a book in three parts - the first superb, the second scary and entertaining, and the third so dull I'm surprised I didn't die of boredom reading it. All I recall now are the mind numbing repetitions about how wonderful an example of womankind Mina Harker is.
Did the adaptation get round this last third or present mostly as is? It could be a deal breaker!

Where you already own the first release, there's also a bundle of just the two--the prequel/sequel combo. That appeals to me, since I have the original too.

Really, really enjoyed the Big Finish Dracula release, good to see the same crew is revisiting it. Got my preorder in.

Sinister Suspenseful and Seductive Expands on the back story and sets up an intriguing possible future direction beyond the Novel. Regards mark687

Regards mark687 I liked the Dracula story via Big Finish but I really don’t think Mark and no offence to him he’s a good actor but even when I see him in Doctor Who I am too much ingrained with League of Gentlemen series too see him as Dracula, even his inclusion in Peter Capaldis last story was a bit of a downer for me.I guess am too much sold on the NAXOS with Heathcote Williams - audio version of the story which is my go to play when am in the need for the COUNT. But I will get it just not right away.

So the first episode is obviously an adaptation of Dracula's Guest, but are the further two episodes also drawn from stories in the collection?

Hang on.... “a certain portrait will be painted”? And the “if you like this...” link was for Dorian Grey.
Hmmm......

I'd die from oversqueeing if Dorian showed up in Dracula's War, but I believe the latest Vortex reveals that it's set during the great war, which doesn't exactly mesh well with Dorian's 1940s adventures with Ms Harker.

Much as I love that people love Dorian, it's a bit disheartening that people expect us to pop him into everything. There's honestly no plans for Dorian to pop up again in any form - not even more Lost Confessions. Sorry.
