I responded with Spooks as well (or MI5 as it was known over here). Got a "like" from BF (along with some other folks), so they heard the interest on some level.

The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries - done properly this time. A whole range of stories, which, unlike Poiroit, seemed to just get missed. The 4 TV dramatisations in the early 1990s were not that great - pity as the books are very good.

This might be an odd choice but I would love a continuation of Strange Days at Blake Holsey High/Black Hole High, with either the original cast or a new class of characters😀 it was one of my favorite childhood sci-fi shows! It had the premise of a boarding school built on the sight of a black hole and a school science club ( led by the eccentric Professor Z) who had to deal with all sorts of strange phenomena, everything from time travel, sinister experiments in a secret laboratory, alternate dimensions, body swapping, unexplained disappearances, an evil sultry shapeshifting Venus fly trap girl, a black cloaked clone, and mysterious cryptic dimension hopping janitor who was actually an Observer ; a multidimensional being from the far future in charge of the laws of time travel (so basically a Timelord😉) and much more! And like Doctor Who originally started out as it also would teach you about science while you were hiding behind the sofa! Does anyone else remember this show?😃

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I've been throwing Newman's Anno Dracula books there for consideration for some years now. I'm quite enjoying the latest, 1999: Daikaiju

Haven't read it yet. In related news apparently his book Professor Moriarty: The Hound of the D'Urbervilles is going to be a TV show.

Not so much adapt as re-adapt... I would dearly love a return to the world of Sapphire and Steel. An atmospheric re-imagining would go down a treat. As long as it's a re-imagining based on the first two series, (with Susannah Harker & David Warner as Sapphire & Steel). There's some damn fine stories in those first two series; they were Brilliant audios. I'd leave the ideas from the third series in the dustbin where they belong though... (IMO of course!) Only heard a few stories in the range mostly from the first and second series but I need to give them a relisten soon I must say ’perfect Day’ was by far my favourite.Cruel Immortality was intriguing and really echoed the TV show . the least favourite was the one Nick starred in it totally ruined it for me and would have probably enjoyed it if they went into the studio and recorded his bits with another actor,I don’t mind him as Holmes(reminded of a slight dialogue in AAL about hams 🤪) I was kindly offered a few of them free by a member but declined.Given the price you could get on EBay for them it was not appropriate hahah. Would I have enjoyed the CDS more if it had been Lumley and McCallum ?No Warner and Harkerwere equal to the roles. I would love the rights to revert so I can finish my listening. So I can trash the third series too -joking

I would agree here Agathas been done to death but Alleyn only two by the bbc that I heard.Singing in the shrouds a totally atmospheric one waiting for audio treatment

Be neat to see a reimagining of The Champions. Could set it in the ‘60s (gives them an excuse to have a crossover with The Avengers) or set it in the modern day.

This would be a fun one, Pushing up Daisies, it’s a short lived extremely quirky supernatural murder mystery tv series that would work really well on Big Finish! It’s about a young pie maker who sidelines as a private detective because he has the magical ability to bring the dead back to life with one touch, so he can interview the murder victims about their killers. There’s one catch to this ability he has to make them dead again with another touch right after he interviews them or else someone else dies in their place💀 There’s also a subplot where he brings his grownup childhood crush back from the dead permanently but with the catch that they can never touch again or else she will die! It’s very very campy, whimsical, and strange! Also there are lots of musical numbers!😀 Here’s the trailer of the original tv series if anyone is curious: youtu.be/iYHR7T9cKzY
