Ace or Leela? maybe K9 for a while (before he ends up lost in time leading into thr K9 TV series). Didn't one of the two k-9s already go missing in the gallifrey series? I haven't gotten to the gallifrey series yet, so no idea.
But aren't there 3 k-9s? One went with Leela, one went with Romana, and the doctor gave one to Sarah Jane.

Ace as War's companion (I would never want to wake up from that dream) Ace as War's companion? I most definitely would want to wake up from that nightmare!

My current interpretation/'reading order' for Eight and Gallifrey runs: ... Gallifrey S2-4 (Eight is still in the DU while Gallifrey falls apart, Romana & co. leave through the Axis) Faith Stealer - Girl Who Never Was (Doctor returns to universe, but no visit to Gallifrey so far as we know) EDAs Dark Eyes 1 (Gallifrey has a different President + Straxus is CIA Coordinator) Gallifrey S5-6 (Romana & co. return to our universe, reset Gallifrey, resumes her Presidency) If you look at what we know of the state of Gallifrey as it was left in Gallifrey 3, i.e. on the brink of collapse, and its state when Romana et al return in Gallifrey 6, i.e. collapsed, then I personally don't think what we see/learn of Gallifrey during the EDAs/DE1 fits in this gap. Plus Gallifrey 6 does not suggest there was any President other than Matthias bewtween 3 and 6, whereas we meet a different President in DE1. That's a good read of things, but I still don't think I agree. Gallifrey is a mess after series 3, but I think that only lends itself to political upheaval. And since (as I prefer to read it) we go so long without seeing it, I think it's entirely likely there would be factionalism and changes of administration. Not spitting in your eye at all, just disagreeing

K9 Mark I died in Gallifrey Season III. Mark II is still with Romana as far as we know, and is probably the one that ended up in that spinoff show. Mark III exploded in School Reunion. Mark IV was at Oxford with Luke when we last saw him.

I'm guessing that Enemy Lines (or a sequel to it) will lead into Intervention Earth, and some post Intervention Earth story will lead into the Time War.

I have yet to listen to Enemy Lines, I'm currently doing a Gallifrey marathon, listening all the stories fom the beginning until I reach EL. I have seen that the War Doctor volume 4 (TBA) features War and Leela. I would like to see how Romana handles the Time War, what happens to Narvin and what about Brax (he ended in the Bennyverse, I'm still a bit puzzled if that Brax is the Brax than Benny encounters in Legion) is there other Braxiatels (like it was said in the Benny audios) out there? All will become clear as you listen. Or perhaps more complicated, depending on your point of view.

Since Mark I died and Mark II was still on Gallifrey, that would seem to make more sense.

I haven't seen the show, but I'm pretty sure it was Bob Baker who said that it was the original Leela model. Dunno if it was stated in-universe or not, but TARDIS Wiki sure seems to think it's true.

I don't think they really would be aloud to state it in universe. I guess Baker must own the rights to Professor Marius, so he might have said who his creator was, but my understanding is that K9 has amnesia anyway.

I watched the pilot of K9 last night (it was pretty bad), and they didn't really give any hint as to which version of K9 it was. He has a "regeneration unit" which probably suggests he came from Gallifrey, but in Bf continuity that could be either one or two.

I'd be very surpised if BF didn't want to tie Gallifrey into the Time War, people will certainly be expecting it, but there's the issue of the Dark Eyes era with a male president.
Gallifrey is Romana and the gang

Gallifrey is Romana and the gang Well, {Spoiler} Enemy Lines ended with Romana no longer the President. Romana can still be the main character, even if she isn't the President.
