Does this mean BF is ignoring "Timeless Child" for this series? Because The Doctor or whatever they went by should be somewhere, even if not twiddling their thumbs on Gallifrey.
After all, per Chibnall, The Doctor is just another iteration of an eternal being from some other reality.
Hopefully ignoring it for this series, and still more hopefully, ignoring it for all eternity... God I hope so

Hopefully ignoring it for this series, and still more hopefully, ignoring it for all eternity... Seems to be the exact opposite. From just this week.... RTD This WeekI couldn't care less what the TV show does with it, that's got singing goblins and a huge SEP field surrounding it as far as I'm concerned. Until rave reviews from fans on here persuade me otherwise, but they'll have to be pretty darn good reviews I can tell you.
I meant, I hope BF aren't pushed/choose to reverse engineer that twaddle into stories with Doctors who knew nothing about it, for the excellent reason it didn't happen! Glancing references in Fugitive Doctor stories I can live with (and ignore) because Jo Martin is an excellent Doctor and I'm looking forward to the BF Fugitive sets, but if they want to make it a/the major plot theme of her sets, well I can exercise my free market choice there too can't I?
I make the occasional joke about it, but unlike some "fans", I don't want to spend my time complaining about what I don't like in 'Doctor Who' when there are so many Doctors and decades and stories - TV and audio - I do like.

There's a new range coming in January featuring characters from the Timeless Child arc. Which hopefully should just be self contained so that elements of the chibnall error don’t infect the other ranges

Really enjoyed this. Very talky and dense in detail, but performed really well. Loved the world building and music too. Very much one third of a story, so await the rest eagerly and expect Morbius will become more of a presence.

May not be as off topic as we think...The Division certainly fit the "Dark Gallifrey" theme, and Morbius is proving we're able to go back into Gallifrey's past and tell stories well.

I've not seen it mentioned but Doctor Who Magazine does seem to suggest an unannounced guest star (not sure if I can spoiler tag or how I would do so so not going to say who) which is pretty exciting and unexpected.
Check out the cast list in the preview.

{Spoiler} ... a certain Tom Baker? His inclusion was announced a while back but is pretty low-key, so I'm guessing it's just a cameo - very welcome nonetheless!

Unannounced? He's on the cover of part 3. A shame I was hoping for a Doctor free story but I'm sure it will still be good. Do the Doctor & Morbius know each other in Brain of Morbius?
Maybe when they do The Collection: Season 13 they can add Samuel West's face during the mental battle.

Part Two does an excellent job of continuing the story. A nice ominous setting, hints at backstory of Morbius’ civil war and the leads continue to perform well. One niggle though; {Spoiler} The appearance of the Eleven, or rather “the Collective” as I guess he is now known in-universe as well now, felt very gratuitous. It’s a cameo for a sake of a cameo really.
