Dark Souls Remastered, i hate it. Why is that, was considering picking this up? Clunky control mechanics, insane difficulty level, all you seem to do is dodge, block, attack, it's a game i think dated badly. Best RPGs i played Elder Scrolls Skyrim & Witcher 3 two amazing games.

Just Platinumed Batman Arkham Knight! Congratulations, anyone who searches for every Riddler trophy deserves high praise, what did you make of the ending?

Just Platinumed Batman Arkham Knight! Congratulations, anyone who searches for every Riddler trophy deserves high praise, what did you make of the ending? I enjoyed it for what it was, I wasn't expecting anything big, so I enjoyed. And I enjoy collecting riddler trophies as long as I can listen to a Big Finish audio while doing it. However the hardest part was doing the achievement where you have to perform all of Batman's combat moves in one combo. That one took me two months learning just how to go from each movement to the next!

Wow that takes some mastering, i think i got around 60% on Arkham Knight, bit underwhelmed by ending didn't think Arkham Knight character was given a fitting conclusion arc & the ending left a lot unsaid, I'm assuming that Batman has used Scarecrows toxin to instill fear in criminals which is why they see a demonic bat?

Yeah, that was my conclusion as well, however it would be cool if its actually Alfred as the demon bat.

So, for some odd reason, Quake 4 stopped loading for a couple of years. Suddenly it started loading again, so I'm back to playing that with the same people I've been battling since the thing came out, or at least those that still play. There are basically one or two live servers these days, which is sad but to be expected. (I vastly prefer it over the COD games).
Also got some various RPGs from Steam:
Lords of Xulima (a bit grindy, but that's not a problem if you enjoy trying to build a super-party).
Divinity: Original Sin. Very nice graphics. A full 360 degree camera, which must be used. Clever traps. Must cleverly use environment, plan encounters carefully, etc. My kind of thing.
Tyranny. Haven't played it yet.
Pillars of Eternity I. Haven't played it yet.
Pillars of Eternity II. Will get when on a good sale.

Best RPGs i played Elder Scrolls Skyrim & Witcher 3 two amazing games. Dark Souls is designed to be difficult. Dark Souls 3 is probably my favourite. I just liked it because it doesn't hold the player's hand. I always felt a sense of achievement after beating the next boss. Great series but not for everyone.

Think after playing God Of War this game felt dated to me, i actually prefered Bloodborne, glad you found enjoyment in the Dark Souls series my friend.

Vampyr, it's got some issues sluggish combat & graphically looks more PS3 than next gen but what makes this worth playing is the rich storytelling & intriguing characters.
A decent Vampire RPG.
3/5.

Have you tried Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines? Same kind of deal, an action RPG with some very nice writing, atmosphere and mod support. It runs on the Half Life 2 engine, so it's looking pretty good for a game that's fourteen years old.

Finally got around to finishing Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I've heard some mixed opinions on this one, but I didn't mind it too much. The thing I found really disappointing was the final fight - it's just a bunch of faceless, no-name Nazis and robots. Unlike the first game, there was no personal investment in the combat (i.e. no major villain to beat), and the defeat of the ultimate villain afterwards is very anticlimactic (but then again, that was kind of the point of the scenario, so I'm kind of okay with it). As for the rest of the game, it was more of what I was after from the first game - a well-balanced (in my opinion) FPS, with a well-written and enjoyable story. All in all, a bit of fun (even if I may have set the difficulty too high... I still beat the game though )

Pillars of Eternity (I) is pretty great. A sort of modernized Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights type thing.

Yakuza Zero. Never played one of these before, but they sounded fun. Picked it up and I'm loving it. It's so crazy and melodramatic. There's no problem that can't be solved by punching it, or hitting it with nearby furniture if need be.
EDIT: And there's Karaoke!

Mechanically there’s not actually that much to it but the tone and the amount of stuff to do (that isn’t just busywork) adds up to something really special. I’ve pumped about 30 hours into it across about 6 months and I’m not even halfway through it. P.S. You MUST hit the dancefloor. I’m terrible at the dance battle mini game but it’s so fun to just watch how OTT it all is.
