It seems like BF are looking for a new Dorian Gray! Since they are adaptions of the stories it doesn't sound much like Dorian Gray well except for being horror and Scott's involvement.

$18 is pretty good for 300 minutes. Its all 6 stories published before Hodgeson's death. I can't really stress how cool Carmack is. It's occult Detective that has him investimate haunting that some are teal, some are fake. It's pretty awesome. It is pretty much well set for a regular series. So I'm just going to beg people to buy it, so BF can make an on going Carnacki, the Ghost-Finder. Yeah I am not saying the price is too high for what is included but it's too high to try out something completely new and well blind. Like I said if the trailer or even better a preview really gets me I might give it a shot but I need something to go on before spending $18. Sorry, I mis-read your comment.

Since they are adaptions of the stories it doesn't sound much like Dorian Gray well except for being horror and Scott's involvement. Horror, his involvement, DL only, heaps of potential for an ongoing series, an adaptation of a reasonably popular horror book/series, just as Dorian is coming to an end? Shrugs haven't not listened to this yet those seem superficial similarities. Dorian is horror/supernatural but the range is just as much if not more a character study. And Dorian was released as individual episodes that were not adaptions of the novel...at least at first. Of course not being all that familiar with this series maybe it will be closer to the Dorian range than I think. But I suppose fans of audio horror may definitely enjoy both ranges.

Look, I suppose what I'm saying is that I feel BF is looking for something to take a similar place Dorian has been. Undoubtedly not the same one, but it feels that way to me. Well I am definitely interested in this range but not because I think it will take the place of Dorian. That is going to be a hole that will be hard to fill for me. Of course I didn't expect to love Dorian as much as I do so who knows....

Was wondering when this would be up Anyways the trailer convinced me. I'll be getting this. Really enjoyed Starkey's reading. He sounded suitably gothic.

Now I'm going to spend the rest of the day trying to remember what else happened in that story.

Yes, I have pre-ordered this, thanks to some convincing by our own Davy Gallagher.

No, good thinking - I was just hoping for a sec. It'll be here soon. I'm dying to hear The Searcher of the End House in particular, was always my fave. It's almost an origin story for why Carnacki becomes the "Ghost-Finder"

I've always had a fondness for The Thing Invisible. Perhaps because it was the first of Carnacki I ever found. Also the Whispering Room, which I always found the creepiest.
