Can't wait for more Jessica Jones!! dont be jealous the craft services is about all you ever see that and guys standing around with walkie talkies rumor is a couple of location scouts moved into the neighborhood i dont 10 maybe 15 years ago so we get a lot of commercials shooting here. we just love that because bye bye parking spaces. so in other marvel shoots done here. im going up the block in my neighborhood and see the no parking signs and the guys with the walkie talkies and think another commercial. but then i passed a tent with craft services a big one. so coming back i take a different way. im going down the park side and see trailer after trailer after trailer. that is no commercial. i talk to my mom and she was in 11 oclock mass with martin sheen. all the grand dames of the neighborhood said a special prayer for him and patted him on the shoulder on the way out. this was around the time charlie was having his meltdown. so the movie if you havent guessed was the amazing spider man. they were actually using my dad's cousin's old house for uncle ben and aunt may's house. that block was just voted one of the prettiest blocks in nyc btw. im in brooklyn near prospect park. as brooklyn got to be the hot thing my neighborhood got upgraded. lots on new and arty folks moved in. they put a film studio in the old navy yard and the city gives intensives to production companies. one of my favorite games to play when i watch tv is "where in brooklyn is that scene?" just a ton of stuff films here.

I'm familiar with the neighborhood. We get filming around here sometimes, too, for various things. (Miami, dontcha know. )

I can't get over the animation on the new Spider-Man animated series. Just....there are no words. Well, that's going to air.

Jeph Loeb has also apparently promised Clark Gregg an Iron Fist crossover.
Speaking of SHIELD, the 100th episode aired last night and it was pretty damn good IMO.

Jeph Loeb has also apparently promised Clark Gregg an Iron Fist crossover. Iron Fist needs a cameo from the lead of possibly MCU TV's most critically-acclaimed show. It may help rebuild audience trust.

I'm liking Jessica Jones 4 eps in but it's a wee bit slow for the binge-watch model. It's very of the moment, in the best way, feeling representitive of #TimesUp, #MeToo and other progressive movements. And there's the funniest cameo from a mongoose since....well, ever.

I loved the first run but even by the quite character-led standards of that this is more measured. Trish becomes almost co-lead. It's good drama but I'm not sure many will want 13 hours of it in quick succession a la Daredevil or Luke Cage.

Have been waiting for a second season of Jessica Jones since I finished watching the first. But now it's here am scared to watch as worried it will be a major letdown.

Watched the first two eps of Luke Cage Season 2 and really liking it. The idea of Luke's ego being inflated due to his own hubris and anger over the events of The Defenders is a great way to take the character. If he is all but invulnerable to bullets, then hurting his character makes sense.

6 eps in to Luke Cage...I'm really digging it but I can already see it annoying those that prefer these Marvel Netflix shows to be Superhero actioners. This is a moody meditation on street crime, legacy, race and PTSD. It's gonna get called slow, I can imagine, but it's really just very measured.
Misty is pretty much the co-lead which is great.

Had a sudden urge to start watching Jessica Jones S2 and I’m enjoying it a lot more than the first so far, probably because its easier to relate to characters dealing with the tangible consequences of S1, rather than the vaguely defined traumas in their backstories. My main problem though is that for the majority of the characters it’s as if The Defenders/Iron Fist never even happened. Hogarth managed to act as if nothing ever happened throughout both series and only now she’s breaking down over her dead wife and affair? Seems a bit odd to be honest.
Agents of SHIELD is hella good though, I’ve been catching up with that and I’m now about halfway through S5. In an odd way it’s practically my replacement show for Torchwood. I love them all.
