Daredevil Season 1 is coming to bluray, in the UK at least, on October 3rd. It appears, from what I've read, there is a deal between Disney and Netflix that the shows remain Netflix exclusive for 18 months before seeing release on home video. So Jessica Jones next April and Daredevil Season 2 next August. Cheers for the info Davey

That's why I said it Don't search for Season 1 - search for "Complete First Season". The pre-order links aren't live yet, they'll be up in a day or two as normal, but the pages are there for both the bluray and the DVD.

Pre-orders now live at Zavvi and HMV. Amazon have the DVD live but not the bluray yet. The limited edition steelbook features a cover by Joe Quesada who created some of the best ever DD artwork in his late 90s run.

Great news, I binged Daredevil 1 on a free trial and it was the best thing Marvel have done. So glad these aren't staying exclusive forever, I'm happy to wait 18 months as long as I can get them eventually.

Looking forward to adding Daredevil season one to my blu ray collection. It's really at the top tier of what Marvel's produced thus far with their shared universe.

Glad to hear that the X-men spinoff, Legion, is still ongoing for the FX network, with Dan Stevens playing the lead. I read yesterday, though, that the other tv x-men treatment for FOX, Hellfire, has been scrapped for now--HOWEVER, FOX has ordered another X-men pilot!
I'm glad to see this because I love the X-men franchise and would love to have two new tv series!

They probably don't want to confuse audiences into thinking it is an Agents of SHIELD spinoff and not their own series.

The only X-Men in the 80s was the awful Pryde pilot. 1992 gave us X-Men AND Batman TAS. That's a vintage year!

SDCC has revealed teasers for the Defenders and Iron Fist as well as a full trailer for Luke Cage. We expected all that but the big suprise, after being told this wasn't on the slate and we shouldn't hold our breath......Daredevil WILL get a Season 3 after all.
We were told there just wasn't room for it and Charlie Cox only last week said he didn't think it was even going to happen. When it emerged that the Hand/hole in NY plot from DD Season 2 would be in the Defenders show that seemed to cement the lack of a Season 3. How nice that every outlet was wrong and that Netflix managed to swerve EVERYONE so well.
Roll on Bullseye!

Ghost Rider confirmed for Agents of SHIELD season 4, with Robbie Reyes as the spirit of vengeance. He's in high school though, which more often than not in shows like this tend be forgotten unless plot relevant.

He's been ruined enough by Hollywood in recent years...I just don't see that show doing justice to Ghost Rider. Please, please, please don't let him be retconned to be Inhuman. I think with them using Robbie a lot of people will wonder why he doesn't have the bike which along with the skull is all casual fans (the ones who only watch shows and movies, not reading comics) will know. An odd choice. Could work. Being SHIELD I have my doubts.

In 2011 for the Green Lantern movie there were people who only knew the character through the Justice League cartoon and accused the studio of whitewashing the character despite Hal Jordan being a GL before John Stewart was. Dare I mention Aquaman and Superfriends? Is the car thing about Death riding in a black chariot? Supernatural did that (Death's introduction in that is nothing short of awesome) just over five years ago.

Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Coker: ""There’s never been a time in history where having a bulletproof black man, in terms of just looking at how that affects a neighborhood, in terms of looking at, for example, how it not only changes law enforcement but also changes the criminal world, and really in a sense, it’s like Luke’s entrance into this world changes the ecology of the entire neighborhood."
With the current state of relations between young black males in inner cities and the cops, it would have been head in sand stuff not to address that. I'm glad Coker did. Some of Cage's best comics have been very political.
