That moment when you're watching Agents of SHIELD and ads come on for that credit card with Samuel L. Jackson.

I've just read the Robbie Reyes run and there's some promising material for the character. I still have doubts over the high school aspect of the character, considering all the other AoS characters are adults and unless plot-relevant high school settings tend to be forgotten (Tomorrow People, Vampire Diaries for example).

I was hoping Ghost Rider would get his own series on Netflix, i can't see that particular character work within Shield.

It could be interesting actually to have a character who still goes to school in Agents of SHIELD.

SHIELD needs a shakeup anyway - we don't need more Daisy-centric stuff, Coulson hasn't been able to just have fun like he did in Season 1, May is an afterthought who gets so little to do, Fitz-Simmons are just nothing...there's speculation Bobbi and Hunter will come back since their own pilot was rejected - they got nothing to do first time round..why bother? Mack is cool but, like May, gets to do nothing that any other character couldn't do.
Time to get back to some fun-spy stuff. I hope they got the Inhumans stuff out their system. We don't need a third season of it.

Concentrating on Inhumans? What the heck have the last two years been? They do classic Inhumans, I'll be fine with it. Someone like Black Bolt on SHIELD would be pretty cool. They've all been off the table so if they do pop up on TV its final confirmation that the Inhumans movie, announced for 2020 then postponed with no revised date, is truly dead. I wouldn't be surprised - their films have done so well that they ALL get sequels. With packed slates like those there's so little room for more titles. If Captain Marvel and Doc Strange do well...there's another two sequels to make. What a nice problem Disney have - too little time to pump out massively profitable films. What Sony and Fox wouldn't give...

So Netflix's Ted Sarandos has spoken about Agent Carter and it seems, despite fans thinking petitions make conglomerates take chances rather than actual ratings, that the show was never going to be saved by streaming. It wouldn't fit in with the Netflix model and ABC (so, Disney) still wanted to have creative control. Nostalgia being what it is, I think there's always a chance the show gets revived at some point. Peggy can still pop up in Agents Of SHIELD flashbacks I guess, though I think her cinematic story is done after Steve moved on to her great-niece.

Jason O'Mara has been cast as the new Director of SHIELD. If you don't know the name, you might know the voice as he has played Bruce Wayne/Batman in all the New52 inspired animated movies like Justice League: War, Batman V Robin and so on. He was also Sam Tyler in the American remake of Life On Mars. I remember him most from being in Monarch Of The Glen as well back in the day.

I'm guessing he'll be the white Nick Fury from the comics, Nick Fury Sr.

Since they've cast an actor, Gabriel Luna, who is nine years older than Chloe Bennett/Daisy, I really doubt we'll be seeing him in high school. They've had zero issues taking just concept and names for characters from source before, and doing their own thing. I think that'll be the case here.

Synopsis for season 4 of Agents of SHIELD: (source Den of Geek) “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns with a vengeance for the fourth exciting season in an all new time period, Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET. In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.
In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.
Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) will roar into the lives of Agent Coulson and the team as a junkyard mechanic who can turn on a dime into the terrifying Ghost Rider. Will Robbie be a friend or foe to S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as the world, itself? Meanwhile, Fitz discovers that socially awkward genius and friend Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has started putting the finishing touches on a new, secret invention.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Jeph Loeb.

I really like what they're doing with Ghost Rider on Agents Of SHIELD. I don't really know this version of the character, but Robby is bringing a freshness to the show that it really needed.

Robbie Reyes is in All-New Ghost Rider, which ran for 12 issues a couple of years ago (it ended shortly before the big Secret Wars event last year). Those issues are collected in a couple of trades. In a couple of months he'll be in the Ghost Rider title (guess why ). I'm impressed with the flaming skull transition effect, considering the show normally goes for the less effect heavy super-powered people.

I've heard a lot of good things about Ghost Rider on Agents of SHIELD. It sucks that we have to wait until January here in the UK.
