I've only gotten as far as the ones based on the first three movies that came out. I'll see what the others are like.

I loved Find and Replace, kimalysong. And I say that as someone who was not an Iris Wildthyme fan to start with. But I love how well Katy Manning performed this, including how good she is at switching between characters and voices. I think the best stuff from the Iris range has been the recent Reloaded box set, since that's bonkers Iris in situations the Doctor might find himself in instead of bonkers Iris in bonkers situations. The final episode is rather wonderful in a sad way, and leaves you begging for the next Iris!

Has a long train journey today so made good process through my CC marathon. Listened to Project Nirvana, the Last Post and am part way through return of the rocket Men. Fascinating to note that a story about pre-destination was bookended by two stories about people going back in time, meeting themselves and being forced into a course of action to protect their own timelines.

Started listening to the BF UNIT stories from 2004/2005.
"The Coup" had a nice part for the Brig, and lots of musical filler.

The Burning Prince. I really liked this one. Fast paced and really exciting. And yes, I could tell that Peter Davison had a cold.

Dark Shadows Curtain Call. Recently been listening to Beyond the Grave.
One, two, three four five, once I caught a fish alive. You've been a bad girl, you need to be punished.

Earlier this week: relistened to the Sara kingdom trilogy - it is just as good as I remember
Thursday/Friday - revisited the 6th Doctors last adventure - a tour de force
Today: working my way through the Trask arc - I really do love dark shadows despite never having seen the show.
Tomorrow: think I'll go for a long walk and listen to the wizard of oz again
Next week: Doom Coalition (looking forward to it).

and after working my way through Minuet in Hell, the Rosemariners, Beneath the Veil, Kill the King and the Slarvian Menace it's time for this week's quote of the week "I like the way you say 'of course' when you're about to say something that doesn't make the slightest bit of sense"
(2 previous weeks quotes come from the end of the Omega Factor and from Storm Warning)

And yet that was the one offered to Anthony Ainley first but he wanted more money than Davison, Baker or McCoy get to do a BF Thats right. You can tell where they rewrote small sections to get around it. But i think that adds to the story as well. If it had been Ainley, they probs would have just said that the Warp Core ripped the Cheetah Infection out of him and thats why he wants to free it I understand they were originally going to do a story set by the English seaside but changed it to use an old unused Tucker and Perry plot the writer's notes say the change was because they wanted Ace in space (If they had changed it because of the Ainley problem they wouldn't have been able to mention it because the Master's involvement was to be a surprise.

Just finished "The Rocket Men", which really impressed me. Great character focus, terrific use of bridging narrative for the complex story structure. And a setting that is both visual and stylized, in a way that comes through on audio.
Loved this one. Thanks so much to John Dorney and William Russell for giving this to us.

U.n.i.t the original series releases. Which I can understand the comparatives with counter measures and the confused crossover argument. Where does the one end and the other begin.
