The Scarifyers: The Horror of Loch Ness (episode 3) via the BBC Radio Player app... I like this series so far!
And in the car today, The Avengers: A Deadly Gift (aka The Cybernaughts). If you are a fan of all things Avengers you can download 20 free stories originally broadcast in the 70's on Springbok Radio (SA). Google em! They really are fab
Tonight was Eldrad Must Die! Part Three. Some great ideas in this one, but the dialogue is getting a bit repetitive with all the shouting that Eldrad must live/die.
On every world, wherever people are, in the deepest part of the winter, at the exact mid-point, everybody stops and turns and hugs. As if to say, 'Well done. Well done, everyone! We're halfway out of the dark.'
Just finished the Rani adventure with Colin release 205 I think we have got to now. Very enjoyable, like the interplay between, the newer Rani and also the newish companion as well. Seems like the first real full outing of everything with old Sixie. Hoping for more in future releases. I do love the choice of Siobhan Redmond for the part of the Rani, inspired that, and this episode was exposing more of the character than before. Cracking, right off to listen to the Domain of the Voord, saving Torchwood for later.
"A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting."
Torchwood was fantastic yesterday. Then with more time to kill, I started into The Day of the Troll, an audiobook exclusive narrated by David Tennant. On Track 9 of 48 so I'll finish that off on my commute today. Then who knows what else. I don't want to get stuck in something long in case J&L releases tomorrow.
EDIT: Just saw Twitter. It does launch tomorrow! Hooray!
Still working through my Star Wars Humble Bundle. Been listening to Star Wars Dark Forces The Collector's Trilogy audio book the last couple days. Pretty good story! Really enjoying it.
Definitely better in quality than Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith, the last set of stories I listened to from that bundle. Both of the latter were decent stories, but I was left wanting more.
"You're all irresponsible fools!" Doctor: "But we're very experienced irresponsible fools." _____________________________________
