Ghost Light - an enjoyably strange adventure, alongside Remembrance of the Daleks the only 7th Doctor story I can imagine rewatching. Curse of Fenric - a decent enough story. Survival - feels a bit more like 'nu who' in the Perivale scenes despite Hale & Pace. Feels like the show is finally catching up to the way contemporary shows of the time are shot & edited rather than the cheap CITV stuff of the 7th Doc's era.The music has a bit of a Jeff Wayne feel & the supporting cast seem better. But then we get to the cat people planet that looks good but they look stupid, the action is a bit shoddy & we get obligatory 7th Doc juggling scene again. & tbh I just don't find the story very exciting, it all turns into a silly mess in the 3rd episode. The final scene is nice though even if it feels like ADR.

Lost In Time-The Crusade -The Wheel Of Fortune-
I can forgive Jean Marsh in Battlefield because she gives an absolute powerhouse argument with King Richard in this ....wonderfully played

Dalek (Robert Shearman)
Great stuff even if I do think Jubilee is the far superior story. Watching the methodical and clinical way the Dalek slaughters Van Statten’s guards I can really believe this a war machine which has destroyed worlds.

Before dinner this evening I finished off part 4 of 'The Deadly Assassin' ( which I enjoyed) and the latest episode of the 'Daleks!' animation (the 'star room' looked good, but I did feel that the episode did end somewhat abruptly).
At the moment I'm doing a couple of escape rooms with my Network group, but am considering making a start on another story before bed...
EDIT: In the end I had 'Image Of The Fendahl' part 1 playing in the background whilst doing some reading.

Earlier this evening I watched 'Image Of The Fendahl' part 2 & would currently be watching part 3, buuuuuuut the disk keeps causing my DVD-drive to crash... =_=
EDIT - It seems to be up on Dailymotion, so I'll be finishing that episode off before heading upstairs for reading, Youtube & bed.

Everyone's off to bed early so I get some choice of viewing. Episode 4 of Fury from the Deep & surviving film trims/Australian censorship footage (which were always good visceral value) . Its a long time since I have watched any VAM features, not out of lack of interest, but I am now enjoying Chris Chapman's chrischapman1981'Surviving Fury from the Deep'. A big step up from the old talking heads against a blue screen of old. Isn't that the same beach they used for the John Hurt 'Oh Whistle and I'll come to you' adaptation? I may be wrong but it looks similar enough. Most feature films do not get this care of retrospective treatment. I am always disappointed when I look for the extras of so many re-issues of classic films and there is nothing to touch the quality of documentary features that we get. Just old documentaries and the odd NTSC video interview, sans subtitles. This is broadcast quality, no flannel about that. Excellent.

Giving Resolution another watch. Love this story, love the epic mythic prologue, the truly imposing dangerous single dalek & it is so well paced.

Last night I finished of 'The Image Of Fendahl', which I loved and today I've made a start on 'The Invasion Of Time'. Whilst I had considered watching the whole thing (I haven't really got much else to do), I think halfway is a good place to stop for the night...

Love and Monsters and Fear Her. One doesn’t quite deserve its reputation (it’s not that bad) whereas the other deserves every bit of criticism that comes its way.

I agree with you on love and monsters, it’s a brilliant satire on DW fandom! Although I think Fear Her is underrated as well! It’s not perfect by any means but I love the premise of Choe’s drawings coming to life as well as trapping people. It’s such a simple but imaginative concept! I also think the scene where the drawing of Chloe’s father comes to life is genuinely chilling! Issue why Fear Her isn’t for everyone though. Side note: I genuinely would love if BF did a redemptive sequel story Fear Her, where a now successful artist adult Chloe Webber gets into contact with the Doctor after her artwork begins coming to life again and trapping people. I think they could genuinely make her an interesting character and possibly even make her a companion if handled correctly.

I definitely see where you are coming from but apart from the Absorbalof I think Love and Monsters has some genuinely good satire DW fandom as well being a brilliant and at times heartbreaking character piece for Jackie Tyler.

Maybe, tbf I have only watched it a couple times. & satirising DW fandom isn't something I find interesting being done in the show.

The Sontaran Experiment. Alongside the new episodes of Toby Hadoke's podcast. Basically it's like having another free commentary track & of course Toby is such great company.

Turn Left, another Who episode accompanied by Tony Hadoke's new podcast. Forgotten how good this is, RTD on top form.
