'Just watched 'The Power Of Kroll' part 1, and should (just about) have time to finish part 2 before dinner.
EDIT - Currently watching part 3, and will probably have it finished before bed.

Thought I would do some weight training at home as it is pissing down nothing unsustainable for Scotland so..I put on
Tooth and Claw school Reunion the Girl in the Fireplace
I know I will follow it with Impossible Planet and Satan Pit as to be honest if there had been a Doctor Who movie that would have been one I would have enjoyed on the big screen

Over the past few days I've been starting to wrap up the Key To Time saga with 'The Armageddon Factor'. I've just finished part 3 and might try to do part 4 as well after my bath/before bed...

This evening I finished The Key To Time with 'The Armageddon Factor' part 6. Whilst I do adore this story (and the series as a whole), the way that the arc is wrapped seemed a little, I don't know, 'quick & easy'?...

A Christmas Carol. The best of the Christmas specials and in the running for Moffat's best script IMO - lots of heart and packed full of great gags, with a structure that echoes his very first Who story, Continuity Errors.
Two fun interchanges that stood out this time:
1) on retrieving the sonic from the shark's mouth: "I've only got two goes and then it's your turn." "Two goes?" "Two arms!"
2) on first kisses: "Try to be nervous and rubbish and a bit shaky." "Why?" "Cause you're going to be like that anyway, might as well make it part of the plan."
I also forgot about the brilliant moment that time changes and Old Kazran is wearing a bowtie all of a sudden.
And, yeah, the whole thing breaks every rule of time, but I think something of that Time Lord Victorious streak has survived past the Doctor's regeneration. Sure, he shouldn't do any of this. But who's gonna stop him? And besides, it's Christmas.

Over the past few evenings I've been watching 'Destiny Of The Daleks'. Not a particular favourite of mine, but it's been a decent enough pre-bedtime viewing...

That being said... I rather like the idea that everything to happen in Tom's final season with entropy, E-Space and the CVEs is due in no small part to what occurs at the end of Armageddon. The Key had to be brought together for some purpose, after all, and we never found out what that was. The entropic collapse of the universe that the Logopolitans will be worried about seems to fit that to a tee.

It's been a while since I last listened to 'Key 2' in full (I think it's been a couple of summers now, since a trip to America with my parents), but have always had a soft-spot for the trio (2009 was about when I was really getting 'into' the DW-fandom). I did make a start on 'Isskar' today though, during my break at work (listening to just over half of part 1, which I'll be doing another couple of scenes of in bed).

(Oh I still don't know, it aggravates then says what does it matter so there's no need to be aggravated)

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Last night I fired up Voyage Of The Damned. I love it. Something that occurred to me, though, and it may have been the beers I had with dinner speaking, but does anyone else notice that the Host (beautiful design, and when they remove the haloes, the little stumps left behind make them look like devils) look like Sir Kenneth Branagh?

Over the past few evening I've been watching 'The City Of Death' which I have, of course, even enjoying (I'll be watching part 4 before bed).
At the moment I'm watching 'The Christmas Invasion' for the first time in quite a few years... For whatever reason, my father thinks I 'got a hold of' the new special early. Yeah, I'm not questioning it either.

I've just finished watching 'Underworld' for the first time in quite a few years... Well, there are less weird & wonderful ways to spend a Christmas morning!

Is there a version that just has the actors without the backdrops in it? There would be a lot of scope for “improvement” for some people, I think.

If so, the Collection Season 15 release will be an EVENT.

The Curse of Fenric Special Edition on the Season 26 Blu-ray. Definitely my preferred viewing experience for this one! Lots of good bits restored.

Over the past few days I've been making my way through 'The Seeds Of Death' (I'm currently on part 3), which I've adored as always &, after work yesterday, I watched 'The Runaway Bride' for the first time in quite a few years...
