So, where does "The Other Woman" short trip come in?

Looks like "The Other Woman" is set at some point between "The Sea Devils" and "The Three Doctors", as the Doctor is still in exile, but Jo mentions having visited other planets with the Doctor ("planets" plural, so after "The Curse of Peladon"), and the Master is mentioned as being somewhere out there, but not in confinement (so after "The Sea Devils").

I'll add this onto the timeline after I've updated the Second Doctor's timeline as I'm currently going through each Doctor's timeline by adding more stories including Short Trips and comic stories. Tim.

Hello! If we're still doing non-Virgin/BBC novels like Jim Mortimore's Campaign and the first leg of what I'm starting to call The Death of a Time Lord, Craig Hinton and Chris McKeon's Time's Champion, then I've recently stumbled across a novel for the Third Doctor and Liz by Simon A. Forward (author of Big Finish audio dramas The Sandman, Dreamtime, Past Doctor Adventure Drift and Eighth Doctor Adventure Emotional Chemistry) called Equilibrium which might be of interest. Considering Liz has already elected to return to Cambridge (only not just yet), I'd place it somewhere near The Scales of Injustice where she does. It's tone fits rather well with Binary, so maybe after that one?

The Transcendence of Ephros from Third Doctor Adventures Volume 2 references "Frontier in Space," so it takes place between "Planet of the Daleks" and "The Green Death." I placed it after Ghost in the Machine in my audios.

Just finished The Hidden Realm from 3DA Vol. 2; I'm having a harder time placing this one. The dialogue is Part One implies that it's set during his exile, but then in Part Four Jo acknowledges she's aware of the Doctor's previous regenerations, so that means it would have to be after his exile is over. I've put it after The Transcendence of Ephros for now based on that, but I'm not really happy with the decision and am open to other suggestions. I suspect this is a case where no matter where it's put, it won't completely fit. {Spoilers - The dialogue in question} From Part One: The Doctor (as they're having to drive some distance to start the story): "Times like these I really do wish the TARDIS was up and running."
From Part Four: "My Doctor would never say anything like that, it must be one of his old selves."
The dialogue in Part One doesn't just sound like the TARDIS has developed a fault, but more like the Doctor's usual frustration at it not working at all during his exile. But Jo had to have the concept of the Doctor's previous selves explained to her in "The Three Doctors," when his exile ended and the TARDIS worked again.
Perhaps someone more familiar with the prose stories knows of a point where he was having trouble with the TARDIS working in Season 10 that this might work?

I did a quick check using the Reference Guide and Dancing the Code has the TARDIS's navigational systems burn out when the Doctor attempts to locate Jo with his Prognosticator. It's possible that there were a few knock-on effects from the incident in question that Three has yet to resolve, putting his ship out of action for this little bit. Dancing the Code's a bit of a double-edged sword really because it also references Spiridon as being "last week", so it might take place pretty soon after Catastrophea with a possible test run shortly after The Hidden Realm leading into The Piper, et al.

I know it's more than a little bit unconventional, but how do we feel about swapping around The Claws of Axos and The Colony in Space despite the broadcast order? The opening scene with the Brigadier still searching for the Master on Earth and Jo's incredulity at the TARDIS's landing on Uxarius strike me as something that makes very little sense after her experiences with the Axons.

That's always the order that I watch them in. It just doesn't make sense to have Axos first.

I know that CC The Blue Tooth is set after Inferno, but does it take place before or after Liz Shaw departs from UNIT?

I know that CC The Blue Tooth is set after Inferno, but does it take place before or after Liz Shaw departs from UNIT? Definitely before.
{Very Big Spoiler} And it shows the reason she leaves - the Doctor's universal compassion finally becomes too alien even for Liz; she sides with UNIT in what is morally the flipside of 'The Silurians', though the Silurians have good and bad individuals - they're people. Cybermen are monsters and 'must be fought', so said an earlier Doctor, which means that here I agreed with Liz.
