I'd have to say Farewell, Great Macedon. It feels like the 60s Historicals because it IS a 60s Historical. Personally, I see it as something of a thematic trilogy about historical interference, along with The Aztecs and The Witch Hunters. All three are great stories, told across three different mediums.
Iceni and Marian are also favourites of mine, but Macedon stands out as the front-runner. A few of these I really have to relisten to (after The Peterloo Massacre of course - which is getting a lot of hype, I see!)

Do I have to pick just one? I like a lot of the historicals that have already been mentioned here.

As usual with Big Finish, there are a whole bunch of stories tied for "Favorite" for me.
The Marian Conspiracy, The Fires of Vulcan, The Church and The Crown, The Council of Nicea, The Settling, Son of the Dragon, The Peterloo Massacre.
But also The Kingmaker, Medicinal Purposes, etc.
So many good ones. I really wish the TV series pulled off a BF-quality historical.

in the "straight" historicals I prefer Farewell, Great Macedon with honoury mentions of Other Lives, Wrath of the Iceni, Son of the Dragon and the Church and the Crown
though a special mention should be made of the more "off-beat" historicals Doctor Who and the Pirates, and the Kingmaker
