Theory Time!😀 Thinking about human nature and fugitive of the judoon🤔 I wonder what each of the Doctors human identities would be if they were under the chameleon arch: -three would be a secret agent - four probably still be a bohemian eccentric, maybe some sort of artist or performer -5 would be a cricket player - 6 would be an actor perhaps preforming Gilbert and Sullivan and Shakespeare -7 (yes I know he’s the Doctor in human nature novel) I could also see him being a politician -8 something sensitive like a poet -11 children’s show entertainer -12 rockstar (obviously😉) or still a university professor - 13 eccentric inventor or primary school teacher Not sure about 1,2, or 9’s human identities 🤔
- in another scenario I could see 10’s human identity being some kind of tv presenter known for his good looks and witty banter Side note: I am slightly obsessed with the concept of the Doctors transformed: either making them human or giving them alter egos, even changing small things like their age🤔 Windmill slam the First Doctor as an astronomer at a radio telescope. Somewhere high up in the mountains. Linked perhaps to civilisation by one of the poorest maintained roads in human history. People always go to him, usually cross-country, expecting that he'll want something in return, but he only ever asks what you'll do with his knowledge once you have it. You want to see some of the most fascinating phenomena beyond Earth, you go to him. The Second Doctor's a lot trickier. Maybe the captain of an old steamboat? A thundrous old vessel with its twin waterwheels. More like the Thunderchild from The War of the Worlds than the African Queen. Something's liable to explode in the boiler before the journey's out, but that's all part of the experience. At times, the almost rhythmic whistling from the pipes seems to remind him of something, but either way, there's never been a sinking yet. I think Nine would likely be a social worker. A champion of those "wrong-'un" kids that everyone else seems to have given up on. It's difficult to tell, but there's every probability he might have been one himself long ago. I could see Two as a confused conductor on a steam train in a remote region. Always forgetting what the next stop is and shooing cows off the tracks. And secretly working on some weird science projects or writing a thesis while on break at the station.

I love human nature/family of blood but there are two major sticking points that always bother me: 1. 10’s treatment of Martha! As much as I love 10 he is less than fair to her most of the time, but picking a time period for them to hide where she would be mistreated because of her race and gender was a new low. If they had to hide in the past couldn’t he have at least thought to pick say the 1980s or maybe hide them in the future instead 🤔 2. It never made sense to me why they kept the plot point about 10 not factoring in that he might fall in love while he’s a human, when 10 falls in love with more people than any other Doctor. This plot point makes perfect sense with 7 who I know was the Doctor in question in the novel, who is probably one of the least likely Doctors to fall in love normally🤔 Well, also, 7 had a different companion along in the book- namely Benny. And yes, she was also a fish out of water, especially not being able to go drinking beer in public as her main issue (the book actually starts with her getting VERY drunk, as per usual)- but she certainly does not have the issues Martha faces. However, there are not many bad guys or rude sexist people who could dare going up against Benny!
So in some respects the re-write of the book worked wonderfully, in others, it really looks a bit unfair for poor old Martha. Still, I think they made the right call. Both versions are great.

Weird opinion/idea time!😊 Didn’t realize until this rewatch of Human Nature that 10 said that he set Chameleon arch to human, which means that it could convert the Doctor into other species other than human 🤔 I now really want either a tv episode or big finish story where the Doctor uses the chameleon arch to become a different alien species 😀🤔
Also noticed 10 said he didn’t have time to use it on Martha, I wonder if a chameleon arch can turn a Timelord into a human can it also turn a human into a Timelord?🤔 That would be a really interesting twist if the Doctor used it to turn one of their companions into a Timelord😀

Weird opinion time!😀 1.We need more storylines with meta takes on the Whovian community and how different aspects of Doctor Who are perceived by the general public🤔
Some examples include: Love and Monsters, (yes you heard me right😁) it’s actually a brilliant deconstruction of how Doctor Who can bring people together as well as an examination of toxic fandom.
Trial of a Timelord: The Doctor is put on trial to mirror how the tv series was on trial with the general public and the BBC at the time.
I think it would be interesting if they did a meta story line ( I know this was sort of done in the comics with Matt Smith) where 13 entered our reality and had to deal with the fact that they are a fictional character in our world as well as fans perception of them now being female.
I would also like more meta concepts to be explored in Big Finish, perhaps addressing real world perceptions of different Doctors at the time they aired.
Side note: If I even write for Doctor Who one day in any capacity, I think I would write some meta storylines based on real world perceptions🤔😉
2. I think it would be interesting if we got one off storylines where Doctors are temporarily altered in some way physically/mentally and see how they deal with the changes.
3. It would be an interesting twist if the Master regenerated into an identical body as the Doctor in order to mess with them.
4.They should show more Eternals and weird realms on the tv series and Big Finish like where the Toymaker is from, the Land of Fiction, and the Queen of Time. Side note: Tv series please bring back the Toymaker and the Land of Fiction! There should be a music realm run by a slightly demented eternal who forces the Doctor and companion(s) to perform musical numbers.
5. This is random but I really want an episode of the tv series where people keep slowly and mysteriously transforming into cartoon characters( which would be treated like body horror)and start operating by cartoon logic, of course the Doctor and companions would eventually become infected too and have to fight against their cartoonish instincts! It would be a very surreal episode!

But I agree, we should get another one like that.
2. Not really on board with this one since this is what basically happens each and every time the Doctor regenerates. This is the baseline for any regeneration story. I think doing it outside regeneration does not really add anything. But we discussed this before. Just not my thing, others might be more fond of the idea.
3. The idea with the Master in the Doctor's body I like. This cartoon comes to mind:
4. As for the Eternals... I admit I am not really into them. They are an interesting concept, but so far left we a bit cold, including the Celestial Toymaker. I also have not really been interested in the BF offerings featuring Eternals so far... and Magic Mousetrap might be the best one of them. I did like the series 12 story this year however, but mainly because of the imagery and the visuals and the mental health story, the Eternals again left me a bit cold. Again, my own personal preference.
5. As for the cartoon idea- I think this has been done in one of the 8th Doctor books. I have not read it, but I think some people on here quite liked it.

Ruth's Tardis and The Doctor's Tardis are one and the same. The Doctor remembers seeing the Tardis at a Gallfreyian museum and being drawn to it. Thats because one it was the Historic one secretly used by The Division and piloted by his past self. The Tardis felt this connection too so when it was being repaired and rebooted to be brought back into service, the Doctor fortuitously found his way to it in the Hanger.
With help from a Clara Splinter. There by, they did in fact Steal Each Other as was said in The Doctors Wife

Love that 8th Doctor/Master comic! 😄 Any idea what that novel is called that does things with the cartoon idea?🤔 Another idea that I just had was what if we had a multiDoctor story where all the Doctors involved where chameleon arched to think they were human🤔😀 There could be some really interesting dynamics there!😄

With help from a Clara Splinter. There by, they did in fact Steal Each Other as was said in The Doctors Wife Agree: that’s why it showed up as a police box when 13 dug it up. It was adjusting to what she was familiar with, just like it did in Day of the Doctor when all three incarnations were in the War Doctor’s TARDIS. What I’d like to see now is the cut scene where the Ruth Doctor (or Doctor Ruth or Doc Martin or Doctor Foster (‘cos she went to Gloucester)) lands her TARDIS and wonders why the hell it’s shaped like a police box - because I don’t think she actually saw it in the hole.

Weird opinion/theory time!😃 (1)There should definitely be more musical episodes of both the tv series and Big Finish! 😀 Think of all the scenarios!😊 Some Ideas for musical episodes: 1. Multi Doctor episode of either tv or Big Finish where all the Doctors each sing in their own musical style! 2. Christmas special where 13 (and whoever her companion is) go to a planet where everyone communicates through song! 3. This is for big finish once they sign Peter Capaldi: Any excuse for 12 to sing and play the guitar!😎🎸 4. More Big Finish, Sixie should sing more Gilbert and Sullivan! 5. Multi Doctor musical big finish audio, with 12 and Sixie where they get on each other’s nerves with their conflicting personalities and opposing musical tastes! 12 would constantly be rocking out and Sixie would be be singing operatic pater songs😄 (2) There should be a multi Doctor episode where two Doctors swap bodies could be interesting 🤔 Especially if they are two very different incarnations of the Doctor 😀 I wonder which would be the most fun for a swap🤔😁 (3) I saw someone post something about this on Twitter but I think its really interesting concept: what if two chameleon arched (into humans) incarnations of the Doctor met and fell in love got married and had kids, and then one day both of them open their fob watches (or whatever has their Doctor-ness in it) and both realize that they are the same person 🤔what would happen? It’s a slightly creepy idea since they would technically be the same person but it is undeniably fascinating!😯 (4) Since realizing the chameleon arch can change the Doctor into species other than human, what if say Davros got ahold of it and turned the Doctor into a Dalek! Or what if the Master used it to mess with the Doctor and used it to turn them into something like a dog(I could see Missy in particular doing this to 12 and then keeping him as a pet!) What if the Doctor needed to confuse an enemy and used the chameleon arch to turn themselves into a human and their companion into a Timelord?! (5) If the Doctor wants to be ginger so badly, why do they never just try dyeing their hair?🤔 Does hair-dye not work with the Doctor’s hair? (6)What if there was a mirror that showed the Doctor what they wanted to be? Particularly if it was an incarnation that was particularly insecure 🤔 (7) Not as a new incarnation (I would rather have Brits for full run Doctors), but as one of the many timeless hidden past incarnations of the Doctor we may now encounter, I wouldn’t mind if one or two of them was played by a non-British actor if it was someone really good like: Tim Minchin or Christopher Lloyd! (8) What if there was a companion that the TARDIS chose rather the Doctor 🤔 What if while the Doctor was out an extended adventure, a homeless person wondered in and befriended the TARDIS 😊 (9) It would be interesting if the Doctor had a companion who spent their entire life with the Doctor in the TARDIS from birth to death!

What would be your ideal Doctor Who musical episode?🤔😊 Well frankly, any musical at this rate would be absolutely lovely. I certainly would love to have another Sixth Doctor musical and definitely with his current companions, but I could see the Tenth Doctor and Rose getting wrapped up in one as well or maybe the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan with the Doctor refusing to join in the fun until he’s absolutely forced to - and we find out he hasn’t quite got the chops like Ol’ Sixie. And, of course, the Twelfth Doctor would have to have his own rock opera - it’d be kind of cool if we even got a really experimental release styled as an album. OR we could have the Scorchies return in the Third Doctor Adventures and pack that with all sorts of songs. That would be major fun!

Would you consider writing that for the Paul Spragg Memorial competition? We've never really seen anyone's relationship with the TARDIS apart from the Doctor.
