Here's an odd one I was thinking about
The Doctor's character arc in the Time War is very like Michael Corleone's arc in the The Godfather Trilogy.
First off a disclaimer, I have never read the Godfather novel so am referring to the movies only.
At the start of the arc the Doctor/Michael does not wish to become involved in the Time War/ the family business. This is Eight's attitude to the Time War and the attitude of Michael Corleone at the start of the first Godfather movie and in the flashback at the end of the second movie.
Circumstances develop in such a way that the Doctor/Michael feel they have no choice but to become involved. Once they become involved in the Time War / family business they are very good at it and do some terrible things to their enemies. This is Michael Corleone by the end of the first movie and throughout the second. We have not seen the War Dr at this point in BF (yet) but it is implied the by the time we meet the older War Doctor he is an man carrying a lot of guilt at what he has done, the lines he has had to cross, etc.
Finally they both reach a stage where they want out but can't get out. This is Michael in the third movie and the War Dr in the BF audio series. That is actually what started me thinking along these lines - you could just imagine John Hurt in the War Dr audios saying the Michael Corleone line from the third movie "Every time I try to get out, they pull me back in"
I'm sure there are plenty of ways in which the idea doesn't work, and others will be able to point them out, but I thought it was rather interesting.

Weird head cannon/theory time!😊 Someday in the Doctor’s final incarnation they will decide to become human permanently, so they can live out the rest of their days as their favorite species.
Every incarnation of the Doctor (yes, including the timeless Doctors) has some kind of instrument that they play whether we see them do this or not.
All the incarnations of the Doctor have alter egos not all of which we’ve seen. Some are more surprising than others, and involve mental as well as sometimes physical changes 😉
One of the Timeless Doctors will be played by Bill Nighy, and reveal that he also worked at the museum in Vincent and The Doctor!
During the cloisters scene in Hell Bent, 12 and Clara confessed their love for each other and possibly kissed!
At various points in the Doctor’s life they have temporarily become a werewolf, a vampire, and a merperson.
The reason why 12 has such an embarrassed look on his face when he tells Osgood about his question mark underpants in Zygon Invasion, is because 12 had at some point previously ran around in just the question mark underpants in the middle of a very public area for several hours (he wasn’t quite his normal self that day)😳😉😄

Controversial Opinion eh: Night of The Doctor is glorified exposition trash and people only give it the praise because Paul McGann is in it and they mention the big finish companions while i believe it actually destroys any chances of Big Finish doing interesting stories with 8 in the time war it was also pretty lazy and felt like a massive middle finger
my whole relationship with new who since then really went downhill

- The Second Doctor has his recorder;
- I'm not entirely sure for the Third Doctor... Maybe the cello?
- A pan flute for the Fourth Doctor, definitely;
- The Doctor's fifth incarnation finally knew how to play the harp in The Five Doctors;
- The Sixth Doctor played "Toccata and Fugue" on the TARDIS, so maybe a piano there...
- The spoons for the Seventh Doctor, natch;
- Eight can definitely play a violin, that was an important fact in The Year of Intelligent Tigers;
- My initial instinct for Nine is to say the harmonica ("Beauty in a coat pocket, innit, look.");
- The Tenth Doctor might be able to play the clarinet, maybe;
- I can see the Eleventh Doctor playing the accordion;
- Twelve's electric guitar, and finally;
- You know... I think she'd probably make her own from scratch. Something cobbled together from dance mats, brass pipes, piano wire and whatever else she could scrounge together.

Weird head cannon/theory time!😊 (...) At various points in the Doctor’s life they have temporarily become a werewolf, a vampire, and a merperson. I mean, two out of three so far: the Fourth Doctor became a Werelok in the DWM comics and the Fifth Doctor briefly became a vampire in Goth Opera. The Thirteenth Doctor and friends temporarily becoming mermaids feels like a Titan comic waiting to happen.

Love it! Do you think the Doctor’s secretly have a band together or hold talent shows?😁 What do you think RuthDoctor plays?

Oh, I don't think the Doctor finds themselves agreable enough to have a secret band, though I can definitely see them party crashing one another from time to time (" Anything you can do, I can do better; I can do anything better than you..."). Some of the later UNIT Christmas parties must be a nightmare. Hard to say with the RuthDoctor, at the moment, I don't think I know her well enough to make an educated guess. What do you think she might play?

Big finish should do a story on the Doctors interrupting UNIT Christmas parties !😁

Either angel or fairy? I could just see the Doctor flying around in circles 😁

Well, if they're going to have a band, First Doctor on piano, Sixth Doctor on drums, and RuthDoctor on bass.

I've posted this one before, but if you are familiar with the video of the actual The Who, performing My Generation at The Marquee Club, its doubly neat: .....and it's got Nardole as Keith Moon/Pat Troughton.....

I don't recall a specific occurrence either... The Sixth Doctor has been wing-adjacent, so to speak, to Peri's transformation in State of Change. She takes to it well. Extremely well. She learns how to fly. After the initial shock and subsequent test flight, she very nearly considers it one of the best things to have happened to her, but the Doctor warns her about becoming too attached to the idea. Their respective metamorphoses are temporary, he can't guarantee anything permanent, and if Peri wholeheartedly embraces the more extravagant aspects of hers, she may return to her own human form with a sense of something she can never recover being human. "There may be... complications," is how he tentatively puts it. It's a nice conversation.

Interesting🤔😊 I guess having wings would have it’s advantages for a companion (much quicker to get away from Daleks and cybermen when you can fly away for a start)! Also I wish 12 really did sing “Live and Let Die” at some point, that would be bada**! Especially if he was flying around while singing it!😎😁 Speaking of Doctor transformations, have they ever used the chameleon arch to become a species other than human?

As far as I'm aware, the Doctor hasn't changed through the Chameleon Arch into another species , but a Time Lord has altered his physiology through a means unique to them. Check out Circular Time with the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa, you'll find an instance of it there.
