Two of last year's Dark Shadows audios have been nominated for the 2016 Scribe Awards.
The audios are - Dark Shadows: Bloodlust by Joseph Lidster, Will Howells and Alan Flanagan Dark Shadows: In the Twinkling of an Eye by Penelope Faith
I think both are as fine a piece of audio drama as you can hear. And very different to each other.
As you might expect, the category is filled by Big Finish audios and the Dark Shadows audios are up against some very steep competition from the Doctor Who and Pathfinders ranges.
Good luck to ALL the writers.

I know these are writing awards but here are some interesting actorly asides - Marie Wallace and Alexandra Donnachie seem to be the only people starring in more than one of the 2016 nominations. As dorney won last year for the brilliant Doctor Who: Iterations of I, a win for Bloodlust this year would mean consecutive wins for audios starring Matthew Waterhouse.

(But would have been nice, wouldn't it!?) It was a beautifully written and performed drama, and will always be among my top picks--and that's saying a lot because I have liked them all.
