While not common in Collinses, there are some repeats (sans parallel time parallels)- Quentin Collins, David Collins says early on he was named after another David Collins.

Well David knew of one in the early episodes. Plus with Laura lurching, there's likely to be a string of Davids about. She wasn't the most creative with names...
Perhaps the edition Judith looked into wasn't too thorough. Some genealogies don't report either those without issue or who died at a young age.

In 288 (just before the beginning of the Cure arc) when Julia and David are looking though portraits of Collins ancestors in the family album, David points out another David who he was named after.

Mitch Ryan and Kathryn Leigh Scott play Joshua's parents, Caleb and Patience Collins. Nice to see KLS play the kind of role Joan Bennett usually got. More Mitch Ryan is never a bad thing.

So Mitch Ryan is also Jeremiah's father, which would explain why Jeremiah looked so much like Burke Devlin... ignoring the face swap to Anthony George, of course.
Meanwhile, who's to say the present day David Collins won't accidentally find himself transported into the past and be forced to pretend to be some distant relative, thereby becoming the very person he's named after? With the twisted and tangled Collinwood timelines to play with, anything's possible. :-)

"Little girl! Little girl!" Even Willie and Vicki got in on that at different times. Nurse Jackson as well.

Just as long as it's not London Bridge. LOL! In all fairness, maybe the wee preponderance of versions of that in the DS soundtrack audio discs represent Robert Cobert's efforts to come up with something worthy? I do admire that he managed to get the tune into a minor key, it made it sound both very sad and really creepy, and what he did to the tune probably serves as a good symbol of what Collinsport will do to whoever or whatever it gets its hands on :-)

Do you think that speaking of little girls, do you think that Sharon Smyth and Denise Nickerson will get a chance cameo in Blood & Fire? Denise was wonderful in both of her audios, and it would be great to get them both back on board. I'm sure they wouldn't mind more adult characters like Kathleen Cody seems to have done.

I think its a temporary cover? Maybe? It's the usual placeholder cover for the Dark Shadows releases, only a bit more stylised with the red tint in the background and the Blood and Fire title under the DS logo. I'm excited to see the actual cover, and listen to the story.

Definitely temporary. It's the standard placeholder graphic.
I saw a work in progress cover yesterday and it's very nice indeed.

Sad not to see Nancy or Stephanie, but maybe they are busy enough recording for Bloodline. The fabulous Stephanie is temporarily unavailable, as she is on stage in Dubai of all places. But fear not, she will be 'back for Bloodline'.

I think I remember reading or hearing from Joe, Davy, and co that the intent is to have the actors share time between the two audios. Hopefully that an actor who is not too much than a cameo in one has a meaty role in the other. I would guess that Amy is likely to have a bit to say at her own wedding, so it makes sense that in Blood & Fire she might take a backseat. It means an opportunity to enjoy all the actors in their own time and enjoy two different roles (or maybe more) in the audios.
