I can honestly say he's one of the few icons I have in life so this is just an awful day for me. Just tragic. His music was a massive part of my life and always will be.

He helped make Taylor guitars a popular acoustic back when he commissioned them to make him the purple acoustics.
At least he left us some great music to remember him by.

Sad news. He was too young to go.

It used to be an annual event buying Prince's albums! With my mother, I also attended a concert night of his Lovesexy tour in 1988. I used to torture my mother by listening to Prince's music all the time and I think his talents eventually grew on her! Sign "O" The Times is my favourite movie of Prince's. The concert music within that 1987 film is absolutely ELECTRIC (better than its non live song variations on the actual album).

Another great Icon lost. Such a sad time. The man was so prolific in his writing and producing. The fact that there are supposedly over 100 unreleased songs in the Paisley Park vaults, says as much.
Gold is definitely one of my fave tracks of his.
Farewell, The Artist Formally Known As Prince
