There will be more Scarifyers, but as Paul says, it's just trying to fit things in. I was determined to get one done this year, but it's June already! We'll do our utmost, I promise. Another call for more Scarifyers please. And I am greatly looking forward to Baker's End. It all sounds morbidly fantastic and crazy.

Hello! Just a heads-up that Baker's End is out now! Two hours early, in fact. For those who pre-ordered, hope you like it. For those who didn't, go on. Please. Then we'll make some more.

For those who didn't, go on. The latest news for Baker's End on the Bafflegab website mentions: "It will be available through other retailers in early October". Would one of those retailers include being Big Finish?

The weirdest thing about this was Katy Manning was the "normal" person and everyone else was acting strange. Sort of like inverse Iris.
I definitely need to incorporate some of those words into everyday conversation now.
So funny I had to keep pausing the phone and cackle like a madwoman. Tom Baker meowing .... 😂

By far one of the wackiest things I've heard in ages. Absolutely hilarious and one of the best thing from Paul Magrs in ages. Looking forward to more.

Here are some magazine and blog reviews for 'Baker's End' episode one!
Sci-Fi Bulletin:
“Mirksome and swervish in its scobberlotching lunacy!”
A Pile of Leaves:
“There is no listening experience like Baker’s End. It manages to be macabre, fantastical and funny all at once. Imagine a Sunday night children’s TV drama made by Hammer, based on an assortment of Puffins and Pan Books of Horror, you’re still not there.”
Geek Syndicate:
“Baker’s End is indeed weird. It starts off relatively simple enough before going down a Wonderlandian rabbit hole to surreal events, Lewis Carroll-style word play and some surprisingly adult humour.
5/5.”
Mass Movement Magazine:
“Who is Tom Baker? If you like your audio drama joyful, barmy, magnificent, and with echoes of Boosh, Jabberwocky and the Goons, you may find out.”
Starburst:
“The fourth wall is also pierced a few times and nearly trampled on once. Such is the crazy world of Baker's End.”

Still waiting for the 2nd part to go up for pre-order.
It will be interesting to have my mother listen to this when I head up north at Christmas for a visit. She always loved Tom's Doctor, wonder what she'll make of this.

I'm telling myself that my post earlier today was seen and caused them to put episode two up for pre-order.

Look and sounds brilliant. A bit more restrained (I'm astonished to use the word in relation to a Paul Magrs story) than King of Cats in terms of concept but ripe for a good laugh or twenty.

The third story will be called Tatty Bogle and is going to be released March next year. It has this: It’s raining blood in Happenstance. Things will get hellish.

The second episode is now out! I got the email with download link last night. Can't wait to get home from work to listen to it.
I'm sending Bafflegab the medical bill for any injuries suffered due to laughter.
The third episode, Tatty Bogle is now available for pre-order.
