What are your opinions on this LE audio set?
Personally, I've only listened to The End of the Line so far and hugely enjoyed it. Miranda Raison is brilliant as Constance Clarke and it feels very atmospheric. Also loved the Master reveal, although I kind of saw it coming.

I really enjoyed this. I didn't see The Master reveal coming and I was pleasantly surprised. By the way, glad you're finding a way to listen to some BF, Dalekbuster. You'll enjoy them.

Just finished listening to The Red House. Didn't think it was as good as The End of the Line but it offered some interesting concepts - most noticeably the idea of Werewolves who become humans in daylight - and the time freezing device sounded interesting. Could it have been used during the Time War much, much later down the line when the Doctor was in either his 8th or War incarnation?

Stage Fright is brilliant. I loved the Valeyard's take on the 4th Doctor's final lines ("The occasion has been prepared for" ) and I'm not a fan of Star Wars but Flip's comparison of the Valeyard to Darth Vader was hilarious. I really want Flip to appear in the TV series now.

I thought all 4 stories were good (with the third as my favourite)
I noticed Paul Spragg listed in the credits suggesting this has been in the works for some time. I wonder if End of the Line was conceived as an Evelyn story and changed following Maggie Stables' death

Just finished listening to The Brink of Death.
Wow, what an epic regeneration story! In some ways, it reminded me a lot of The End of Time (mainly because of the Valeyard's plan to replace every Time Lord with himself starting with the Doctor) but mainly it felt like a regeneration story unique to the 6th Doctor. I can't see any other regeneration story having the matrix involved heavily in its plot in the future; certainly unique (in a good way).
Also: I really hope Big Finish bring Liz White back as Genesta; she's absolutely brilliant. Perhaps she could be an audio companion for one of the new series Doctors (although I doubt she'd work alongside John Hurt's War Doctor)?

I loved Genesta as well. {Spoiler} I was really sad when she turned out to be a Valeyard plant. I would love to have her back but I have no idea how they could do it. I guess that's why I'm not a writer.

I guess that's why I'm not a writer. Part of the intrigue is not knowing if she was always the plant, though. If we have her back it really tuins the ambiguity and a good chunk of the Valeyard's plot in that story. I loved, loved, loved Genesta but I'll file her with Shona from Last Christmas and O'Donnell from this weeks ep as coulda-been-companions.

I loved Genesta, as well. Would love if they could figure out a way to bring her back.

I guess that's why I'm not a writer. I reckon she was her own person at one point and maybe is now that the 6th Doctor did regenerate and trapped the Valeyard to be erased in the Matrix.

Which Doctor would people pair her with?
Personally, I'd put her with 11.
