Just been revisiting the tales out of sequence of course lol Stage Fright-Matt Fitton was one of my favourites on the original listens as was The End Of The Line-Simon Barnard/Paul MorrisI guess having Jago and Litefoot and the re-enactments of the Doctors past adventures and a Flip who comes into her own in this story makes it a stand out story in the set.I loved it when I first heard it and still love it now. Probably my favourite story out of the entirety of The Last Adventure boxset. One does wonder as to whether the Valeyard was just lying about Flip’s fate to unsettle the Doctor or whether it was in fact foreshadowing of things to come. In which case, poor Flip.

I think it was foreshadowing her fate perhaps in Scavenger

Would be absolutely heartbreaking though if Flip was killed off. Narratively satisfying I’m sure but still heartbreaking none the less.

I always took it as that...which was later resolved so her future is left open in my book...am all good as long as when they die...they stay dead 🤭
