If any one here has been following the web-series that I help produce, Star Trek: Excelsior, we just released a new "vignette" episode, "Meeting Minutes" but at 40 minutes it's rather closer to a full episode. Except it doesn't directly feature the Excelsior at all, but three related important characters in a story that does relate directly to our long-term ongoing story arc. (of anyone wonders, I assembled the 2nd half of the episode, as far as the base sound design goes. )
Ah, well the initial pilot was from a long time ago and it was very rough as far as sound design goes. I mean, I started listening there myself, but that was also before I was listening to hardly any professional productions like Big Finish. They quickly got better. But it's not perfect and we still have issues with sound quality due to every actor recording on their own equipment.
The first season was one fairly contained arc. Our big ongoing arc more or less started in the 2nd series.
Oh, I know! After the CBS/Paramount crackdown on the fan video productions, we went to a lower profile for a while - I even took the link out of my signature line for a few weeks and only after it was clarified that audio productions weren't included that I put it back.
But as for the 50th special, I've completed my sound-design scene assignments for the episode. Oh, and my small amount of voice acting too. hah.
