My heyday for following DWM was during its first monthly (issue #44) to its last issue (#216) before becoming 2 cm taller. Nowadays, I only buy it on special occasions (e.g. #467). I most certainly will be purchasing DWM issue #500, which will be released on May 26. Any information on its content will be appreciated. By the time I actually receive and read my physical copy its articles will be ancient news to some. The DWM publishers are *presently* conducting a poll to find the fans favourite cover. As a matter of interest, what are your nominees for DWM's finest covers?

I stopped buying on a regular basis once the show was cancelled. I bought a few when it restarted but stopped shortly afterwards. I only buy if it has a Classic interview such as the Pertwee or Sherwin ones.

I subscribed in the very early days and had many dozens if not more of the Weekly, then cancelled after I went to Uni. I've only bought them on and off since

I collected for roughly 100 issues from #83. I lost interest in it about a year after the show was canned and I have only bought it sporadically since then. It was always a great read.

I'm exactly a half way point collector Every issue since 250,
First heard of it in an advert in the back of a VNA tried to order through WH Smith and couldn't but there was a tiny newsagents at the back of my town centre. Little old guy had a huge leather bound order ledger "DWM sir no problem" Bought every issue and special from them ever since.
As the Mag itself its gone from being the bastion of the "angry fan" to conformist support piece, However its clear that its always sincere in its output.

Survey 1:For issues 1-50 on the poll, I chose covers: #1, #8, #25, #44 and #48 (maximum 5 votes for every batch of 50 covers). Some of the unrelated products (TVs and bike) that were advertised on the earlier weekly issues are now very nostalgic. With the survey in batches of 50, I'll soon figure out what my favourite DWM 1-500 cover is. And then most importantly, what the popular vote is when this pinnacle issue is published. I hope that I already own a magazine copy of the eventual winner!

Only bought it regularly as a kid; now I only buy the odd issue every couple of months when there's some nice interviews/features that interest me in there. Will probably pick this issue up, although not sure if it will beat #400 (with its feature on the history of DWM - including the old adverts for bed wetting!)

50 FinalistsI chose issue #474 as having the GREATEST DWM 1-500 cover. Note: There were several days (bunches of 50 covers) when the survey would not accept my e-mail address (or any other inputted address from my location). Thankfully, I was able to vote on the final stage of the poll.

Fingers crossed - vote for #474.
