Dunno if anyone hasd read the announcement for Survivors Series 5, but it stars Neve McIntosh. Around the bottom of the announcement is this little tidbit... "This will actually be Neve’s second role for Big Finish. But what was the first? Ah, you’ll have to wait for that announcement!"
Could the whole gang soon be heading for BF?  |

That's what they'll do if they enjoy cruelly toying with us Paternoster-Gang-fans.  I'm guessing a Paternoster box set is too much to hope for. Maybe it'll be a Jago & Litefoot & Vastra release...? Or Jack & Vastra in a Torchwood: The Victorian Age sequel...? |

Just Googled "Neve McIntosh", and was amazed to see that her Wikipedia bio is in need of some love and attention, the reason it amazes me is because articles on Wikipedia that connect to Doctor Who are nearly always well cared for and jam packed with information. The intro section doesn't even mention Doctor Who, yet actors who played a bit part decades ago often have their Who connected highlighted from the get go.

Catrin Stewart was in a Torchwood release (One Rule) and Dan Starkey has a long history with Big Finish so I think that a Paternoster Gang release is very likelly. It's the most obvious NuWho spinoff that Big Finish haven't done yet and all three of them have distinctive voices so it'll work well on audio.
Whatever it is, I would be surprised if it didn't involve Madame Vastra. Surely Big Finish wouldn't tease a story involving Neve McIntosh then announce it's just some guest character who happens to be played by her.
I'm looking forward to whatever this release is and I'm looking forward to her being in Survivors too.

Maximum publicity for the 10th doctor
Then maximum pub for a project like this.

I think they might have her come onboard as a guest character just to get a feel for how Big Finish operates in general. If there are no complaints and she has a good time, she comes back and does the Paternoster Gang boxset we've all been waiting for. That's me speculating though. |

I'd be curious to hear what BF does with a Paternoster Gang box set. On the TV show I find that a little Strax goes a long way but the way he was worked into the Jage & Litefoot world made him a lot more tolerable and I hope that I would feel much the same way about Vastra & Jenny with BF doing the scripting.

According to the latest podcast, Big Finish would love to do Vastra/Jenny/Strax stories but the rights aren't available.
