It really should be self-evident. BF announced the name of Ep 1 of Stranded on their Twitter. It's news. Not an obscure titbit.
If someone stumbles over it on a CV, or an actor mentions it at a con, or in passing on a tweet pre-BF announcing it...it's got a place here. SOmething that WOULD be a BF story...but it's not from BF officially on their channels.
Not terribly sure why there's any ambiguity at all.

It’s like people don’t care what words mean. Eliminate the ambiguity. Do one big all encompassing news thread.

At the same time, Mark's not doing anything "wrong" - he's sharing news that could be missed. Maybe in places contrary to the nature of the thread, sure, but I think the only way to combat that would be something like Audio says - just make the news thread all encompassing. I mean our TV Doctor Who Series 12 thread isn't "official news" and then another for "Unconfirmed" and we all seem to manage just fine.

The Big Finish news thread is for news directly from Big Finish. That's not hard to understand.

the argument rather stems from what "directly from Big Finish" means these days, I gather

I wonder what series of the FDAs they are recording? 16th or 17th?

I've mentioned this before but one of the surprise treats of the S18 Collection blu-rays for me is June Hudson in the 'Behind the Sofa's, so many great comments and memories of the season. They had small budgets back then, but the production teams did wonders with huge imagination and skill.

Is the Martha box part of the 'cutting back on releases' exercise... 😉

Is the Martha box part of the 'cutting back on releases' exercise... 😉 It did seem a bit odd Martha coming in "only" for a Torchwood. With Donna and Rose getting boxsets already and Martha having that whole year of becoming a legend globetrotting spreading the name of The Doctor it's kinda tailor made for a set. Certainly makes more sense to me than a Lady Christina box!

I'm just worried we're going to get a barrage of Martha releases! 😉

Interesting tho that those two are under BBC while her part in Lost Resort says Big Finish for BBC. Might be just a matter of character limit, but I thought it was worth mentioning nonetheless.

Almost wonder if The Master will make an appearance in this. Or if they’ll simply leave him in the background, his presence felt through the sheer devastation he has inflicted upon the Earth. It is established that he is aware of Martha’s exploits so really you could do it either way.

Who've thunk it? Regards mark687 Who indeed? And right after Martha appearing in TW too, we didn't see this coming.
I noticed Ms Connolly is also playing a Robot called 'Thad' in September's MR 'The Lost Resort', which I guess tells us a bit about that story if includes a robot with a name and dialogue!

It is established that he is aware of Martha’s exploits so really you could do it either way. Last of the Time Lords does suggest the Master never actually sets foot on the Earth, presumably staying on the Valiant, so it’d make sense for him to be a distant menace.
