https://www.reddit.com/r/doctorwho/comments/fgyjuo/iris_wildthyme_live_an_unearthly_palaver_artwork/
Hopefully this link works !
It does, thanks! "G'day of the Doctor" Brilliant title and I love the artwork. But... Doctor? (The next word is obvious but I'll type it anyway...) Doctor Who (or which.)
Katy does a very good Pertwee Doctor doesn't she? But really I expect Iris is moonlighting as the Doctor.
I see I wasn't alone in hoping for a wider circulation for this: 'Somebody better record this on camera.'
I couldn't agree more, but an offical audio release would do very nicely wouldn't it?
More info here! G'Day of the Doctor is the name of the event. The story/performance itself is called An Unearthly Palaver and it goes back to Putney Common, November 1963. They seem to imply there's a Doctor involved with the "and... who?!" (the first), but it could also be Susan/Ian/Barbara in some way, shape or form.

Unclear whether this is Big Finish-related or not...

And I see from the links this is the Iris-icing on the cake of an event with panels and other equally amazing guests etc. etc. Sold out in under two days!

That would be amazing! There's certainly precedent for that sort of thing. Years ago at Star Wars celebration, there was a live performance of an original Han Solo audio play done in the style of the brilliant NPR adaptations from the 1980s. You can check it out here:
there were three of these......smugglers gambit, smugglers bounty, smugglers revenge they are all on you tube, well last time i looked

we are due an extremely meta story where the Doctor visits Big Finish Studios to thwart some alien menace. My money is on the Vardans myself. That would be amazing!😀 But which Doctor?🤔😊
Well, if we're getting "The Doomsday Contract", perhaps we'll get the other big unused Douglas Adams-era story, the one by John Brosnan where the fourth Doctor and Tom Baker team up
(Shouldn't think so)

Do we assume for a future UNIT boxset? My thought was for a future Stranded set, since the Curator is in those

Do we assume for a future UNIT boxset? My thought was for a future Stranded set, since the Curator is in those And my thoughts was for War Doctor stuff. Considering a) Andrew Smith has written War Doctor stuff previously (two stories) b) BF mentioned they had plans to do more War Doctor stuff in some form it felt a good fit. In saying that, considering that Andrew Smith is the new script editor for the UNIT range, going into post DOTD territory, I suppose it makes sense that could've been the reason why. That's just what my first thought was.

I hadn’t considered that Big Finish could continue to record new stories. So this is very good news and demonstrates that where there is a will there is a way. And once again shows another benefit of the audio medium.

Just a mention Andrew Smith took over. But I swear it was mentioned somewhere regarding the UNIT Zygon era, either in a Vortex email thing, or something. I swear I'm not crazy! Any help?

Jacob Dudman has posted a photo on his Insta-story of him at BF in Sixie’s costume, and it’s dated from 10 March and says he can’t say what’s happening in the photo, so I assume this is for something as yet unannounced...

I wonder what this could mean🤔Are we in for a Sixie bodyswap story where he’s played by Jake?!🤔😄
