I don't really know if this is the right place, but Eric Roberts has said on Instagram that he loves doing Big Finish and is always happy to do recording sessions.

Yeah, Paul wasn't recording Colchester... but blimey, last time we recorded any Colchester was over a year ago. Already ? Do you think it would be feasible to have him in some Main Range episodes ?

I'd thought he'd gotten a reputation of being a bit of a grouch toward Doctor Who. Glad that's not the case.

Most definitely. Always knew he’d pull in a good performance given the right writers. I do reckon we will see his Master crop up more alongside other Doctors in stories to come.

Always knew he’d pull in a good performance given the right writers. Isn't that the way once Big Finish gets hold of a character though? Decent script, decent production, and suddenly a dull-ish character gets brought to life. It's a Big Finish trait.

I agree with your statement regards Big Finish absolutely, but with respect to Eric Roberts, perhaps I will give him some leeway. He was one of the highlights of the TVM to me at the time, and manages to make some very static scenes in the Tardis entertaining, through some well judged theatricals (or camp pantomime villain, less charitably). So yeah, given better material, he has the range to shift his tone and be more sinister and dangerous. I still think to myself 'Whoah! Julia Roberts' brother! From Runaway Train with John Voight! Playing the Master in Doctor Who!' that the geeky me thought back in 1996.

I’m not saying anything is happening, but.
Neil gaiman is willing to write for the Corsair. As per Twitter.
