Well I would imagine writing for the Ninth Doctor would be troublesome, simply because Mr Dorney hasn’t written for that Doctor before and the weight of expectation on those stories must add a level of pressure.

That only means it can't be 10 (The Creeping Death), 11 (The Light Creepers) or, 4 (The Wizard of Time).

If we take there to be fourteen Doctors (1-13 plus War), that presumably means Roy has stories in the can but as yet unannounced for other Doctors.

Unless you take it to mean the 1-12 that BF have the rights to use, with War seemingly off limits to them in recent years, going by the short trip competition rules. Then it would only account for the 3 he has already written for then the other 9 possiblities

Whilst this isn't a definitive indication, Roy does tend to do lots of New Who stuff versus Classic. So Ninth Doctor would seem a reasonable possibility. Or y'know, 1 2 3 5 6 7 8 and 11. Either or

Either or I also get the feeling that a lot of writers will probably want to write for the Ninth Doctor considering it’s quite the coup they have even managed to get Christopher Eccleston in the first place.

To be honest, almost all storylines are pigs to work through, for me at least. At that stage they’re all broadly the same. And sometimes the ones you don’t expect give you trouble, for all manner of odd and different reasons (There’s one I’ve got at the moment that would seem to be standard, but plotting it’s been a pain for a good three or four months). It’s the part of the process I really hate!

Gosh, nothing that intricate. Usually just a short synopsis. Approximately 2 pages for an hour as a first pass.

Jane Slavin has something interesting on her Spotlight CV;
2020, Audio, Narrator, DOCTOR WHO: THE AUDIO NOVELLAS - Prisoners of Nerva
Some sort of new narrated novella range? Follow up to Arc in Space/Destinarion Nerva?

Maybe dipping into the audiobooks readings market like BBC and as they've been doing with Blake's 7, Star Cops, Omega Factor etc? Cheaper. Maybe for a podcast market that lots are doing now? Interesting possibilities.
