Hmm. A replacement to the Companion Chronicles releases for post-60s Doctors, perhaps? Maybe, or Not So Short Trips! Maybe dipping into the audiobooks readings market like BBC and as they've been doing with Blake's Seven, Star Cops, Omega Factor etc? My mind also springs to the bonus audiobook with Masterful. Maybe that's turned out so well it's becoming a range of 2-disc audiobooks

If they could somehow get the Series 5 scripts for The War Doctor done as audiobook readings, then that’d be lovely!

Also J&L S14 that Nick said they'd do "something" with.

Pretty sure Nick said they've lost the license to do prose/books, only audio now (and that Benny colouring book). So it'd have to be an audiobooks reading or Companion Chronicle style sort of thing, hopefully performed by Christopher Benjamin.

Long form short trips. That would explain why no short trips have been announced past December 2020

Based on the thought of these being extended Short Trips, I wonder if the Time Lord Victorious one will test the waters? It’s two stories, but it’s one purchase and will presumably run at an hour. That’s surely going from a story to a novella!

Earlier in the week the official BBC Doctor Who Twitter re-classed itself as an official Twitter for the show and a commercial channel of BBC Studio and they've done this
I wonder if this means BF and BBC studios are entering a closer commercial relationship or whoever runs the account has a proper understanding of BF?

I don’t think there’s anything in it. I imagine they’ll have got their social media done in house now and BBC Studios are those dealing with the licence so I’d expect them to be familiar with the product.

Well I would imagine writing for the Ninth Doctor would be troublesome, simply because Mr Dorney hasn’t written for that Doctor before and the weight of expectation on those stories must add a level of pressure. To be honest, almost all storylines are pigs to work through, for me at least. At that stage they’re all broadly the same. And sometimes the ones you don’t expect give you trouble, for all manner of odd and different reasons (There’s one I’ve got at the moment that would seem to be standard, but plotting it’s been a pain for a good three or four months). It’s the part of the process I really hate! But at the end of the day John your like the postman, you always deliver the goods, thanks for sharing my friend it gives us fan's a little insight of how the writing process works.

Regards mark687 It's actually just them bringing their twitter and instagram accounts in line with their YouTube channel and Facebook page, where they already promoted other stuff apart from the show (they had the BF trailers there). Basically, it's just that their twitter will be used as a commercial and promotional channel from now on.

Thank you all for posting Dorney's tweets. I love them, but I am rarely (if ever) on Twitter. ( I was only on there recently to see what was going on with the craziness that happened last week.)
