So that's Volume 4 and Volume 5 of the 3DAs sorted for release next year then... Seriously, unless Katy is going to be creating a new character ('Tales of The Terrible Zodin' finally ) then surely it's either Jo or Iris? Jo stories now mean the 3DAs in pairs so it could be the next two volumes - and Katy Manning's comments on the Vol 3 interviews were very encouraging about the future. Iris sets have been 4, 3 or 8 stories so all guesses are off in that case. Or it could be something unusual like an Unbound Universe set - Jo and the other Third Doctor would be great. Anyway, my speculation is fun but pointless really. As soon as they announce exactly what she is recording and when we can expect it, I'll be pre-ordering! I know it's unlikely, but I'm still hoping for more Iris Could be another Baker's End. I know she did one or two of those.

Katy manning apparently just received 4 scripts in the mail today. She didn't confirm anything about what they were about though. Tales of Mother Nothing, perhaps? probably not

Regards mark687 Have they said anything about the future of The Companion Chronicles? The Full cast format with no narration is obviously more popular and perhaps easier to get into for new listeners, but I've really enjoyed the CC's I've listened to, the evocative narration, interesting framing devices and first person companion perspective allows the writers to experiment with the format and focus on one character in the way a full cast play doesn't, it would be a shame to see the range curtailed as it was for so long the mainstay of 1st Dr audio stories.

Which with the BBC out for some time and the Sherwood Sound out by then maybe it coming in last isn't the worst thing in the world.

It removes the last of my doubts about this new range; extra 'Doctor Who' from BF is always very welcome, but I'm sure most of us will want to hear more stories from the classic actors for as long as they want to perform them. And the First Doctor CCs earlier this year were right up there with the best of the range; more please.

The news article says nothing to the effect that these would be replacing the already existing First Doctor ranges, but neither did it say anything to contrary. But we know now, and know that there's lots more good stuff to look forward to
