IIRC, there was a suggestion months ago (perhaps even going back a year...) that Dudman was going to a second 9th Doctor Chronicles set but whether or not that's changed since Eccleston signed up to BF, I don't know.
I think we can only infer from the Dudman release that Matt wasn't coming on board at the point in time when they committed to producing the Dudman release. Once they have it in the can, they have spent money on it and will want to recoup that money by selling it, so would presumably still release it even if Matt was coming on board.
Plus they still released 10th Dr Chronicles with Dudman and New Earth with another soundalike after Tennant had come on board.
BF may delay the announcement of Matt until after the Dudman release to avoid damaging sales, but I think it is too much of a leap to conclude from the fact the release is going ahead later this year that Matt has definitely not come on board. Not that I think he has come on board - the principle of Occam's Razor always applies, after all.
Still makes me curious why we haven't had any more announcement of Chronicles with The 9th/10th and 12th Doctors
past news on here has implied that Dudman has recorded more (whether its 12th Doctor Chronicles or the other doctors is up to speculation)
There is another 10DCs to be released. There are clips of it being recorded in this video.
Guessing then that, as he produced Wicked Sisters, Mark Wright might be the producer on the Fifth Doctor range.
He’s already been confirmed as producer for the Second Doctor range hasn’t he? On a recent podcast. Cant see him doing multiple. I’d probably put money on Scott Handcock or Emily Cook doing the Fifth Doctor stuff.
Jo was kinda the proto-Sally Sparrow, Astrid from Voyage Of The Damned or Shona from Last Christmas - loads of people saying ""Lynda with a Y" should have been a companion way back in 2005 when she was in Bad Wolf/Parting Of The Ways. It's still one of the most effective and "Oh, no...not them" guest star deaths ever, with the Dalek in the vaccum of space saying "exterminate" which of course is inaudible but we can tell from just the blinking of the lights.
To be fair, she's been one of the higher paid soap actors of the past 15 years, getting more cash for every time they coaxed her back and in the past 5 years or so has shaken off the "Tanya off Eastenders" typecasting big time with brilliant lead roles in two pretty big series in Ackley Bridge and especially Shakespeare & Hathaway which has ended up getting really big ratings and being one of the top shows for overseas sales in recent times.
Rumor was a least 1 other appearance in something next year.
Another thing to note is that in the comments when someone said if it’s more war master Scott Handcock said it might not be war master related I don’t know if it’s a big finish original project or not now
