According to the Eleventh Doctor Chronicles Volume 2 article in the latest DWM issue, there’s going to be a new Eleventh Doctor companion introduced in later sets and they’ve compared it to the early main range with the Eleventh Doctor getting his own BF arc. That appeals to me. If they’re unwilling / unable to embrace the previous Chronicles format with cast from TV, then my preference would be to craft their own era. Interesting to see how far they’ve planned the Eleventh Doctor Chronicles and whether the others have similar plans to be long running and have original companions.

Correct me if I am wrong, but are we not a month or two away from the 40th anniversary of her first appearance in the show? Purely coincidence?

You are wrong it's roughly 40 years to her second appearance on the show (28th September 1981) which introduced Soolin Her first appearance was in Project Avalon 27th February 1978 as a mutoid

Just remembering that at Big Finish she played Magda, Avon's lover (from Lucifer trilogy) in The Way Ahead. Maybe the audiobook has something to do with the character... or not.

James Goss (sort of) confirms Torchwood series 7 is coming. And that COVID happens in Torchwood where it seems to have missed the Doctor Who TV series, judging by how January 2021 looked in Revolution of the Daleks!

Guess we can just put it in the same camp as the 456 and miracle day as stuff the doctor just forgot to deal with.

There has been nothing official and it is possibly nothing more than a placeholder while Big Finish sort out the issues that have delayed the production for so long that it is perilously close to entering the mythological status currently enjoyed by Jekyll And Hyde and Charlotte Pollard series 3...but a quick look this morning at the pre order specials tab on the website in release date order reveals a date of approx March / April 2022 for The Companion Chronicles : The Second Doctor - Volume 3.
Fingers are now tightly crossed..

Well, if Lockdown! is anything to go by (and, for me, at least, it is) Osgood and Bill did experience it as well. Maybe in the Whoniverse the difference in government lead to a different response to the crisis and it wasn't as harsh by January 2021.

Do you have any idea how long it takes someone of my advancing years to cross his fingers tightly? 🤣 Thanks for that. I have no reason to doubt what you say, but I am curious why they would default two quarters ahead instead of one...and why the website would ignore Jekyll and Hyde altogether (it's not on the pre order specials as far as I can see..) 😊

Could this just be referring to Dark Season rather than anything unannounced? There are already 9 releases scheduled for November, and I feel like any more would be a bit too much.
