Some more Matthew Waterhouse news -
Janet Fielding has tweeted and mentioned that Adric is in the script she's been reading.
Matthew himself has tweeted to say he'll be part of a Big Finish presence at the Dark Shadows 50th Anniversary Festival later this month.

(though it could be an ST Script, hilarious Tweet too)

In Dark Shadows news: "Dark Shadows: Haunting Memories" is a forthcoming set of 4 short stories as "read by the original cast." It includes a story written Lara Parker for the first time. It also sounds like (and I could have this wrong, I was a bit confused by what Nick Briggs was saying) it includes the story "The Missing Reel" by Ian Farrington, which was meant to be in the June release but was delayed I haven't heard the podcast, but I know this one - it's that The Missing Reel which was planned for Haunting Memories (the second anthology out in December) has been swapped with Old Acquaintance which was originally planned for Echoes of the Past (the first anthology out in June). Both are Quentin stories. And just for clarity in case anyone doesn't know, Lara Parker has written some very successful Dark Shadows novels in the past, this story is her first Dark Shadows writing for Big Finish. She wrote Angelique's Descent, which Big Finish adapted as an audio reading read by Lara to kick off the Dramatic Readings. She also wrote the forward for Dreams of the Dark, as well as other novels such as The Salem Branch and Wolf Moon Rising. Heiress of Collinwood is due out in November.

Love the exchange between her and Matthew, really funny. My favorite bit has to be the image of Adric's final moment, captioned "The last thoughts of Adric: At least Tegan can't yell at me anymore".

Have to say no one can beat Janet Fielding at snark. There was a Zoe vs Tegan panel at a con I went to and she really went off on Wendy Padbury (all in good fun) Then Janet was with us at breakfast & she continued to go off on Wendy lol. She also went off on Matthew, Guns in America, etc. she was definitely an interesting breakfast companion.

I'm not sure what "The Tripods" is/are, but it seems BF can't do them because someone else has the rights:

Notes from podcast "June #4", featuring Terry Molloy as the interviewee, and also (what feels like) episode 84 in a row in which Nick Briggs has failed to secure a babysitter...
His intro mentions having stories with "all the Doctors from the 1st to the 11th, so far." I assume that refers to Destiny of the Doctor, but maybe?
Confirmed: Adric is back in 3 Monthly Range episodes--The Star Man, Contingency Club, and Zaltys--joining the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, and Tegan.
There will be more "old friends" returning in the next few months of the MRs
They have no plans to do a departure story for Ace.
There are no plans to do any younger War Doctor stories, and he has no idea what they would do for casting.
When questioned on whether they will do more Steed/Peel Avengers stories after finishing the Lost Episodes, Briggs says he's not sure about that, as the rights situation is very complicated.
This month's 4DA comes out on Tuesday

There's also a tidbit from the Terry Molloy interview, although while it doesn't concern Big Finish it may involve BBC Audio. He said he's been asked to read a Doctor Who with the Fifth Doctor, Tegan and Turlough. This may be Resurrection of the Daleks, finally getting an official novelisation (the Doctor Who New Zealand fan club website has an unofficial novelisation). I think Ben's a fun presence on the podcast, and at least it helps us get them weekly. I did sense that Nick was getting annoyed with the keychain noises Ben was playing. I didn't know Ben was in The Prisoner of Peladon, but Emerald Tiger wasn't mentioned!

Apologies if this has already been mentioned in the thread, but back in March at the Regeneration Who convention, Peter Davison was interviewed by Nicholas Briggs and told Briggs that he would really like to do a Big Finish Two Doctors story with David Tennant. The crowd went wild and Briggs told Davison that BF would be happy to do that, as long as Davison could convince his son-in-law. Davison seemed confident that Tennant would sign on for it ... so, don't be surprised if a 5/10 story pops up in the near future.
