I understand what you say. Some years back during my student days, I had a huge book collection which unfortunately I had to give away when we moved houses due to space constraint. I used to love staring at them But now, most of my stuff is digital, mainly for want of space. I live with my parents and if I try to accumulate CDs, they'll throw both me and my collection out So these days I get hard copies of only those that are really special to me - like the Harry Potter complete collection still stays with me. As far as the bonus is concerned, BF is a no brainer obviously - counter measures is one, and I also need to get some of the second doctor stories. and maybe pre-order the time war series (whatever I don't have) and maybe River song and maybe Fourth doctor series 5 and.. it goes on I have also set my eyes on the new iphone............. i need an upgrade I'm certain the day is coming where I'm going to have to get rid of a lot of my excess stuff... but that day has not yet come, and damned if I'm going to go out of my way to make it happen sooner I've managed to come up with an okay-ish system for my Big Finish spending - if it's on sale, buy it. If it's a pre-order, buy it. Anything else has to wait... it's a slow system (and expensive when the sales roll around), but it seems to work Yes sales only makes sense . But in my case like you said some days back I still need loads to catch up with . So it’s like “All I want is everything “ and likely this will continue for some more time 😀 My family doesn’t understand my craze and I’ve stopped explaining. But I have their blessings now as long as it doesn’t encroach upto house space too much 😀 I love looking at vinyls and would’ve even bought some but I don’t have a record player .

I keep the CDs at Dad's so that Mum can't see how much I spend on them There would be absolutely no way of explaining THAT level of addiction to her... I bought the two Big Finish vinyls only because one of my housemates had a record player... and then it broke (it wasn't me, I swear!). I got to hear The Chimes of Midnight, but Spare Parts is currently awaiting a turntable; I've planted a few seeds though, and there's the possibility I may be getting one for Christmas...

In my case it’s the other way round- dad and my sis are my auditors 😀 Mum is cool.Infact we’ve never ever owned a record player I suppose, atleast from when I was born there were only cassettes, vinyl had faded out by then. Had loads of audio cassettes and later VHS which went to the dump yard when the VCR went. Brings back my childhood memories of the 90s - the good old days

Brings back my childhood memories of the 90s - the good old days Can't quite remember the 90's, I was born a little too late into them By the time I was paying attention, even cassettes were going out the window. The shows I watched as a child were on video, but when I started hitting around 7 or 8 they were all on DVD. Mum still has a VCR though - she likes to record stuff off TV then transfer it onto disc (a lot cheaper than buying the DVDs).
