Series 2. I hate to say it, but I'm more interested in the Second Doctor than I am the first. And I've heard mixed things about the first season.

Yeah I subscribed to the 2nd Doctor and I bought individual titles from the 1st Doctor based on their synopsis (which is what I will do again for S3). I do like the first Doctor era (especially the historicals) but Two is my favorite so he always gets an automatic purchase from me.

I almost lasted 4 hours before caving ... I have just ordered the War Doctor and (making myself a liar) the Martian Chronicles. That's Xmas sorted for me and the wife (before all our money gets lost with day to day rubbish).
Cheers

Bought the Martian Chronicles this weekend.
Today, of course, it was "The Time War" bundle, including a McGann release and four more releases with THE John Hurt.

Recently I've bought the Davros series in last weeks sale, three Companion Chronicles - The Doll of Death, The Wanderer, and The Time Vampire - also finally got around to a long overdue purchase of The Worlds of Doctor Who.
Really missed having somewhere to celebrate these things where they might matter in the least. Not much of a cartful there but it makes me very happy to be moving forward with my collection and the purchases do count up. If things go like I hope I will have bought all of BF's current DW catalog in a calendar year (although maybe a little longer than that is more realistic) - and on a rather restricted income at that.

Just purchased the Time War saga and picked up for next month the Jago and Lightfoot and Strax release. I need a laugh with some Strax.

Pre-ordered the first War Doctor set. I also want to upgrade my Doom Coalition download only to disc. I decided I'd like to take it with me to LI Who Con in Nov. when I meet Paul McGann.

Completed the Sarah Jane Smith range with purchase of the second series. Haven't started listening to the first series yet but I'm sure if I put my mind to it I could take in both series in a couple of days. Wanted to be a position to do that as I'm anxious to start the TV series, and moreso because I just discovered the TV series looks to have gone on much longer than I had dared hope, hooray!
Also got The Doomwood Curse from the Monthly Range - The Last Adventure was the first time I got to hear the 6 & Charley dynamic which I just adored, but I'm slow getting around to following up on their MR adventures. (Got The Condemned last month, which was great but I think ended it up putting a nice spotlight on Charley and DI Menzes rather than on the 6 & Charley chemistry).
If I had a brain I'd have already pre-ordered Doom Coalition and Torchwood and Dark Shadows and The Forsaken and other things but I'm doing a bit more wait-and-see than usual... A 12-month MR sub starting at 120 is really looking attractive and I'd gladly wait one more payday on the newest offerings if it meant I could manage that, but the sub is probably what's going to end up having to wait. Again. Unless I find a twenty in an old coat pocket, but I'm sure I've already looked during sales. Sigh...
