This is why I waited so long.

No not talking actors purely characters. The actors can go voice whoever i just don’t like characters from one universe of stories entering another universe . I would hate the Doctor to visit Blakes Universe.Hate Sherlock Holmes in Doctor Who’s etc.Star Trek in Who. That sort of thing

That sort of thing I don't think I'd have minded a DW/B7 cross-over, I think Servalan joining forces with the Daleks would have been brilliant, although, yes what's the point because the Federation would last about another hour before the Daleks tried to take over and what's B7 without the Federation? Star Trek/B7 would be worse because there'd be one Federation too many :-) Glad I understand what you meant now, I hear you. I wasn't always so down on the idea of cross-overs, but all I had to do was to try to catch up with comic books a little and I was sick of cross-overs that quick just reading some of the titles. Scooby and Sponge Bob should stay in their own universes, seriously. :-)

I also do not like the Sherlock Holmes/ Who one, but that might be the story. I loved the TNG/ Who cross- over Comic even before I became a Whovian. It has very life like artwork and it is just pure fun having 11, Amy and Rory battling the Cybermen/ Borg with Picard and the gang. Same with all the River stories. Or the Alien vs. Predator comics: for me it always depends on the stories. Some of them are quite good. Others.... not so much.

I like my characters to stay in their own universes-except Warner and Gattiss But that’s not technically a cross over,as those universes are connected hahaha. I just have never been a fan of them at all.Dorian in Doctor Who’s universe would have been fine with me if it had been played by a different actor. Sherlock in the Doctors universe would have been ok if it had been Land of Fiction Sherlock.Much preferred Jago and Arthur Conan Doyle kind of thing. But am anal that way anyways if it works for you brilliant I gloss over those episodes lol

I think I'd have liked it better if there were only one Holmes in the DW universe, it seems like maybe there are three or four of them (not sure how many Shakespeares there are either but possibly too many of them). I do still like the Dorian/Dark Shadows cross-over very much though. You kind of have the option whether you want Dorian to be the same character or have it be in the same universe, but really a rare and remarkable thing to have two different characters from different universes and different ranges with so much in common getting to meet like that. Of course, I might be somewhat partial to that one because Dorian was the first step I look outside the Dark Shadows range because of that cross-over, and eventually ended up tremendously enjoying most of Big Finish's catalog - and I got so excited about Dark Shadows Bloodlust that I realized I was missing tons of fun by not trying more things, and that's when I started listening to Doctor Who.

Yes I like experimentation and can see how crossovers help boost sales

Speaking of crossing, or rather crossing paths, how the hell have the Daleks never bumped in to the Cybermen? I'm all ears, and no I don't want it to happen, but I've been thinking about it lately.

They’ve bumped into each other on occasion (a DWM short story published in 1991 was set in the backdrop of a Dalek/Cyberman battle and a comic in the 2017 Dalek reference book featured them infiltrating New Mondas), but never in audios-aside from the adaptation of The Ultimate Adventure. I’m kinda surprised the Cybermen haven’t been involved in the Time War yet, you’d think the Time Lords would consider them ideal cannon fodder.

I would definitely think the Time War would lead to some strange and surprising allegiances.

Its more likely there were some races that stood on the sidelines to watch two major temporal powers wipe themselves out. then they could become king of the castle mopping up afterwards and gaining dominance.

After last month's backlog sub, I've just resubscribed to the ongoing Main Range releases starting with 257. Interstitial/Feast of Fear, with The Maltese Penguin as my free gift (I had it on download already, but thought I may as well pick it up on CD for free before it inevitably ends up in the going-out-of-stock pile ).
