I am massively excited over this, I so enjoyed the previous release with Tim, I have just clicked buy instantly. Hoping for good things from this next set of stories.

Yay. Volume one was amazing, but know without the narration (which I did not mind) these could turn into one of my favourite ranges!

Ordered Vol 2 & will eventually order 3.
The one thing is I do hope Richard Franklin will also be involved.

The tweet about recording did hashtag UNIT so hopefully so. Well, it also said they were recording three seperate things, so I'm assuming Third Doctor Adventures, Sixth Doctor Main Range trilogy and the UNIT silence boxset. But yes, I really hope Richard is in at least some of the upcoming stories. I wouldn't want him in everything, because a lot of the flavour of genuine 3da is the Doctor travelling with Jo. Having Mike along works once or twice, but if it happens all the time it might start to feel odd. The listings do say further cast TBA so there's hope that Richard and perhaps John Levene are waiting to be unveiled.

As well as involving Richard Franklin, I also hope that long shot John Levene will be included within these forthcoming Third Doctor adventures. Levene seems to have no problem working for Fantom Films.

I read the tweet differently now you say that.

I'm looking forard to this. Hope they attempt it without the Narration though Dorney confirmed on Monday that "Its Gone"
in fact the News story itself says:
"Each volume will feature two full-cast adventures presented without narration."

I hope there's a Cybermen story. And Richard Franklin and maybe even John Levene will return? Apparantly after a convention BF are trying again

I was surprised that there wasn't a bundle option. Having a money saving bundle on the latest PHP releases and on The Avengers: Steed and Mrs Peel got me to order both in advance rather than wait. For the sake of a £5 discount I am surprised that BFP don't do it more often. As a further example they announced box set 2 and 3 for Vienna at the same time, but offered no bundle discount, so I only ordered the first one. Box set 3 has been out for sometime, but I still haven't purchased it.

If there was a bundle I would have ordered both at once but yeah there really isn't an incentive to do so. Granted I will still preorder set 3 but I have plenty of time to do so.

Interesting that there is no classic monsters or villans again in volume 2. Shows faith in the sets that they aren't relying on them.

Box set 3 has been out for sometime, but I still haven't purchased it. Pre-order bundles that include 4 box sets (Doom Coalition and UNIT: New Series) without any extra discount or exclusives applied, also aren't the most tantalizing sales technique options either. I did at least manage to buy Vienna: Series 3 (separately), but I haven't listened to it yet. I do get a sense that Vienna isn't an overly popular Doctor Who range, and its continuation could possibly be financially problematic for Big Finish. Who knows though, Graceless is getting its fourth box set treatment...

I will definitely be pre-ordering these, but not until we get closer to release. I think I'll be holding off on some pre-orders for a while. The Third Doctor is now where near my favorite Doctor, but I love what BF have done with the era so far. I'm looking forward to it.
