In The Tall Grass.
Well that was a weird mind f..k of a movie.
Note to self, never venture into tall grass fields under any circumstances.

Zombieland. I wasn't expecting this to be as good as people make out; actually, it's better.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
Delightfully stupid. And they’ve really played up the comedy this time around when it comes to Venom and Eddie’s relationship with one another.

Fantastic Beasts, Secrets of Dumbledore. I went with my sister. These have pretty much stopped to be anything like children's movies. Very dark and violent. Also, for my tastes, not enough humor. My sister liked it, but the story was nothing special and I pretty much knew where this was going. But looked great visually. And, this is still not the end for the saga- Grindelwald will be back.
I also will be a heretic and say that I liked Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald better than I liked Johnny Depp.

I am sure we saw this in the cinemas here..
1 thing JCVD does, is convey the emotion-like in all the "big end of movie fight scenes".
Bloodsport- Kickboxer etc

Had buy Region Free MVD blu ray extended cut version from America because the UK blu ray version from 101 is the R rated US cut that misses scenes that were originally on the vhs release. This film has least 5 titles originally titled AWOL in UK in other countries it's titles are Lionheart, Leon, Wrong Bet & Full Contact.

My brother still has them all on VHS video !!

Doctor Strange. With a colleague. OMG this was AWESOME! Just the right mix of fun, weirdness, creepiness and jump scares. Very clever. Fantastic scenes. Great visuals. Loved it!

Clash of the Titans (2010)
Very much the modern day poster child for a dumb action flick.

The Matrix Resurrections
(An enjoyable nostalgia hit from the franchise that doesn't generate nostalgia in me)
Random FF 4
(How I imagine the pitch went "Vin's willing to come back, well there's a couple loose ends form the previous ones to tie-up, Scripts still light, add 2 more street race scenes ths'll do", Post release "That made a Cr**p Ton of Money, Vin what do want stay "I Want to be a Producer and make the franchise Bond from the Streets. Response "Ok£££"
Regards

Firestarter 2021, awful, a pi.s poor remake with naff CGI fire & one of the worst endingd I've seen in ages.
My advice, stick to the 1982 original & avoid this one.
1/5.

I’m not all that keen on the original, but I couldn’t believe how they stripped out the most interesting stuff from the book in this remake! The DSI stuff is so underdeveloped it might as well not be included and then that one scene with the doctor who created the chemical that went nowhere? Bizarre.

Yup i agree a terribly butchered script, i don't know if those scenes were filmed then cut but this was a very poor movie.
