Doctor Who: Short Trips Monthly is a series of new short stories read by an original cast member. To escape his Earth exile, the Doctor is prepared to make any bargain, come to any arrangement, or to do any deal with any devil – even if in this case the Devil wears a monk's robes. But when past misdeeds start catching up with both the Doctor and the Monk, who can Liz Shaw trust when time is running out and death is rapidly approaching? Written By: Ian Atkins Directed By: Lisa Bowerman CAST Rufus Hound (Narrator) To be released July 2016

A story that might be told from the Monk's point of view. I'm excited for this one.

I'm glad to see this out. It looks like a good story and it'll help ease the wait until Classic Doctors New Monsters on Thursday. I'll listen to it tonight.

It was a very interesting direction to take - almost a Liz Shaw story yet voiced by the Monk. Quite thought provoking in some ways

Quite good! Rufus makes an excellent Monk, Liz gets to meet another Time Lord and have a short hop, just a nice little story all round.

My review: dalekbusterscreenfivereviews.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/the-blame-game.htmlI loved the Delphon references. Took me a few listens to understand the so-called 'lava planet' actually being the Earth at its creation though. I thought it was a different planet created to be Earth in the same Solar System at first but after a few re-listens at that part realised it was actually our Earth and the Delphon ship had crashed into the centre of it.

How many ships is that now at the heart of the Earth?
